As the year of the Rabbit dawned, Bounding Luck was released, offering an East Asian theme filled with plenty of furry rabbit friends.
In an uplifting world of lanterns, golden coins, and calligraphy, players will follow a mysterious white rabbit in the hopes of being granted good fortune.
This slot will appeal to players who enjoy Chinese cultural themes and those eager to welcome the Chinese New Year with style.
Bounding Luck’s soundtrack is a string tune with a traditional Chinese flavor. The music picks up during spins, and wins are celebrated with festive chimes, adding excitement.
The reels take the form of scrolls of paper, and many of the symbols are stylized to look like Chinese characters. An ocean wave also appears among the symbols, as does a red envelope embellished with a golden rabbit.
The rabbit himself is the most adorable symbol, wearing a red waistcoat and guarding a stash of gold and treasure. The rabbit makes a cameo on a golden coin symbol, his small smile making him especially endearing.
A simple blue-patterned wallpaper behind the reels has a subtle East Asian aesthetic, and lanterns on either side of the screen uphold the festive atmosphere.
Together, the animation and soundtrack create a Chinese New Year party vibe.
Bounding Luck is a five-reel, four-row slot.
Wins are calculated using the Any Way Wins system, meaning that matching symbols must land in adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel.
If players wish, they can buy directly into the Bonus feature (see further details below).
The Wild symbol appears on reels 2, 3, and 4, and substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter symbol.
The Free Spins feature begins when players land 3 or more Scatters. The number of free spins awarded depends on the number of Scatters that triggered the feature:
Throughout the Free Spins feature, Wild symbols will reveal multipliers of 2x or 3x. If more than one multiplier is part of a win, these multipliers multiply each other.
While in the Free Spins feature, players may collect as many as 15 Golden Rabbit symbols. Golden Rabbits can upgrade standard symbols into high value symbols.
The Free Spins feature can be retriggered if players land at least 2 Scatters. This will award 5 additional free spins.
The return to player of Bounding Luck is 96.28%, just above our yardstick for average of roughly 96%.
The range of bets on the site we tested ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€0.25 up to a maximum of $/£/€50.00 per spin.
