Nice one, I may try it then. Did you say nothing received or transaction fraud?

Do reckon the incorrect MCC is bomb proof I think it is I cannot see any comeback on my claims with an NDA letter im growing more confident to be honest still plays on my mind though ! the thing is the bank never even checked the payouts just raised the lot that says something about it all
I used a template I found in this thread:
Upon reviewing my recent bank statements, I noticed discrepancies in the descriptors associated with transactions from your platform. It appears that some of the descriptors are inaccurate and do not align with my legitimate transactions. This has caused confusion and concern on my part.
I kindly request your prompt assistance in rectifying this matter and processing refunds for the transactions with false descriptors. To help facilitate this process, I have attached relevant screenshots and details of the transactions in question.
I understand that errors can occur, and I appreciate your attention to resolving this matter promptly.
Yes I do as they would need to say we have bypassed a code breaching law as we are not licensed in the UK, the issue is and you and I are lucky as we have done it but others haven’t is getting the banks to chargeback under that code.
I did something like this to finnart and got a quick response nothing from artstrid, the banks have disputed so I may just leave it now as they would need to falsify the goods received which they shouldn’t be able to do as I don’t have a crypto wallet
My bank (chase)created a case but initially I said miscoded MCC and they weren’t having any of it,then they pushed me to say I hadn’t received any goods from this and opened a case no issue-they’ve put the case on hold until we know whether I’ve actually received the refund or not-based off what you said your bank should have no issues in sorting for you
Mine is Chase as well, pain in the arse on the MCC hence why this time I said goods not received. I have seen others say Finnart try saying it is received but surely if enough complain then we are all good. To be fair Chase did open the goods not received the day after but I am unsure if these companies will refund directly but good that you have the bank raising it for you.
I know I honestly cannot believe it to be honest I was set on going to the ombudsman.
I feel for the others and try my best to help them.
I am not sure if the casino will try and contact me about it they have never replied about the £330 short on my refund and they would not unless I constantly chased them for days.
The refund had the bank address etc name on it as I got a transaction letter from the bank it was Lithuania.
Anyway yes we are both very lucky people and me especially to get it done a second time.
Hi mate sorry im not wanting to say they have been good and dont want people referring to this
I remember during Covid I had a chargeback for tickets then they refunded directly, called bank and they just cancelled the chargebacks but that was like for like amounts. Would imagine for you if you get both you could just notify the bank that they need to cancel X amount as you had it back from the casino.
Ah right!
suppose I’ll see what’s happens but if I’ve got email proof of them saying they’ve sent a refund even if they try going back and saying I’ve received goods I have evidence.
fingers crossed for you mate!
Hi mate yeah I will see how it goes if the site starts getting heavy will see what it is about I can always just pay them back according to them 20% of my losses were £3500 so it was £17000 all in the chargebacks are for £14900 and the refund was £4600 so there is not much of a difference for a bunch of robbing c**nts like them it is nothing plus what about all the grief they caused me you know what I mean with their dodgy pirated non regulated games.
Be nice if you got to keep both, I know somewhat unethical but these crooks don’t think twice when they defraud us.
I know what you’re saying basically if they said refund and nothing turns up they are not going to be able to contest it.
Only got one from finnart despite multiple emails to artstrid. I think I am just going to leave it with the bank as they have raised a dispute. Will just hassle them daily for 45 days as I hate Chase super incompetent.
seems like the FOS is starting the side with the banks for the MCC argument in the basis that they could not have reasonably known it was a gambling transaction and that chargeback requests are discretionary. another issue seems to be flagging it was a payment to an online casino and therefore can’t raise the dispute to the merchant.
