I've look into this thread, however unfortunately i cant find information about the Albedo vouchers. Could someone help me identify if their vouchers are accepted in some gambling websites (and which ones).

The website of Albedo is Albedosend.com it appears they are multipurpose vouchers.

After months of waiting, I got my outcome from the Ombudsman and they have sided with the bank. I honestly cannot believe it. Waste of time.

Im still waiting for mine to be assigned to someone, raised it almost 4 weeks ago! I presume I will get the same outcome then

Yeah I’m in same position don’t think it’s worth going to them they will only side with you on exceptional circumstances I’ve read through so many and having gambling block alone isn’t gonna cut it! The banks use the fact that they can’t identify the merchant being anything other than what It portrays to be examples clothes shop education and books what ever it was so therefore they side with the bank because they couldn’t stop something that isn’t coming through as gambling site.

100 percent I had one bank chargeback when it was small amount no question they just did it the actual merchant asked them to cancel chargeback and refunded me directly all done within 4 days and the other bank are saying no no and no to everything! It’s amazing how one will help and one won’t thought they all work under same rules it’s f*cking disgusting. The merchant elegro would only help if bank contacts them and the bank have point blank refused me so It’s over for me now.

It is horrible some of these bank workers are scum I know I used to work in them its just usually uni students who are full of sh@@e and clueless team leaders there must be some decent ones though but it is luck if you get them the last guy I got was a total throbber but the woman before was brilliant

They just said that the bank is not liable and they couldn't have raised any chargebacks for you because they are gambling transactions. Completely disregarded my whole case.

They admitted in the report that they were using the wrong MCC, but said the bank aren't liable for that.

Well I’m pretty sure transaction laundering is a thing but according to my bank there’s no such thing in place for that!!

I actually asked my bank to get me contact details for the merchant they were not even forth coming about it said they could only google it same as I can. But then how did my other bank contact very similar merchant and get them to refund then if that’s the case. These banks definitely have more info then they are letting on and it’s pretty vile that they are allowing all this to happen on a daily. There’s actually zero point in card blockers or GameStop or any of that because in a nutshell we are screwed even trying to help ourselves!!
