It is extremely hard to beat the addiction.

It can be done and it takes huge effort and persistence to do so.

You must go through the pain to get through to the other side

I found it hard to stop gambling because I always thought I might win big. I wanted to quit because I was losing too much money and time. This was bad for me in many ways.

I didn't stop gambling all at once, but something helped me cut back. I started using no deposit bonus codes. This let me play without spending my own money, which made things easier for me. It was a way to enjoy gambling without the stress of losing money and helped me control my gambling better.

I'm so sorry. Did you get well, did you get help, and now it's better ? Gambling addiction can be very dangerous, but I don't think I need to tell you about that.

If you need help, we have some guides that might give you some useful information.

You can find it here- Responsible gambling.

Anyway, I hope you have overcome this fear and are doing alright. 👍☘️

i agree on this with you, totaly correct my friend. they emphasize yet they do not know what it is being under the water. i do not know how it ends for others or you, i hope only the best, but i have learnt to bet what i can afford and still have fun. its not about winning, sure winning is fun, but its more about the relaxation

If you want to stop, just stop, don’t come up with excuses, don’t look for someone to blame, and so on, just stop. I speak for myself, this is how I quit smoking.

Hmm, I would say that with some people it is difficult and not everyone can have the same mindset as you. We're all different and what you think is doable, someone needs help to do it. Addiction is something that is quite hard to control in some people's case and so I understand that it doesn't just happen.

But it's important to realize that it's the person's own fault and certainly not to blame everyone around or anything else, you're right.

Thanks for your addition.

Totally agree. You shouldn't even start gambling if you have difficulties controlling yourself.

Well, that's a good view, but it's also true that it's probably not so easy for everyone. I guess I can't imagine it because I've never been addicted to what all is going on inside the person who has the urge to play. Anyway, if you admit it, that's the first step towards getting better and I would definitely seek professional help. That would be the wisest thing for me.

As long as it's decent and doesn't target anyone, then I have no problem with it. Sometimes generalizing is the road to hell, because not everything is black or white.

But you expressed your opinion, and I think you presented it well, even if not everyone has to agree with it. 🙂

Ofc if you admit it, that's the first step towards getting better and I would definitely seek professional help, but for example - i know that gambling its a problem and i know that would be better to ask for help but i like this moment when i get winnings and this situation need outside help so that someone can point out the problem, maybe when I start a family it will be like this, but for now I live and play for my own pleasure)))

I got it. If you need help, you can tell us, we have some guides or help lines where you could get assistance if you need it. It always needs to be someone impartial and someone from the outside as you say. I know it is not an easy task, but it is not impossible either.

Feel free , we have also started a new cooperation with BetBlocker if players want to self-exclude themselves from some casinos or similar. So whenever you need anything, get in touch and we'll see if we can help.

Have a nice day too. 🙂

Funny guy. Quitting smoking is easy. Quitting gambling certainly isnt

I think it was in the context of addiction that if it is possible to do away with one, it is possible in this case as well. But I know it takes a lot of determination, awareness and help. It's not an easy thing to do. 🤷‍♂️

Yes I got what he was saying. But you can’t compare something like smoking to gambling.

This forum is supposed to be here to help people who struggle with gambling and not for people to make stupid comments such as that👌🏻

I think like every other addiction, the will to stop is the most important factor in overcoming gambling. The journey to reclaim control over your life begins with a strong, personal decision to change. Recognizing that gambling has become a problem and deciding to quit is a courageous first step. This resolve must be rooted deeply within you, as it will be the foundation upon which all other efforts to stop gambling are built.

Yes recognising is definitely the first step to freedom.

Unfortunately gambling addiction isn’t the same as say drug addiction, where you can take something to counteract the drugs or the same with alcohol etc.

Gambling addiction is totally in your head and unlike other addictions like drugs or alcohol, you don’t actually put anything inside your body.

This is what makes it even more addictive. It is always there. You need to go out to buy alcohol or drugs. Gambling you don’t. It is there on your phone or laptop 24/7.

It is almost impossible to get away from.

So temptation is always accessible.

It can be beaten though. For sure. With hard work and dedication

Without personal motivation and a desire to change your life, any effort may be in vain.
