A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

About a bonus on their slots I think. I find it weird they use a 415 and 310 area code number to contact me

Regarding what?

Regarding a bonus. They used two different numbers with different area codes so that threw me off

I wouldn't be worried. Just ignore them?

Not sure if you know anything about Jazz Casino but they are a legitimate casino, aren't they?

I'm probably paranoid but they aren't the type of casino if you owe them money they can go after you. Right? I know on land based casino like in Vegas, they can do that but I believe that based if they give you credit. Online casinos don't do that, I'm sure.

fileI'd suggest something like this. Canada is a very regulated country.

This is what they will all start doing - ignoring everything. Saying nothing for them is better than saying something which can be used at a later date.

Hi all,

Just had a call off chase bank after a 4 week scam and fraud case and they have declined any refund as they didn't see any scam or fraudulent activity.

I have an open complaint aswell saying I did not want it to go down the scam fraud route at the end if the day it should be a simple chargeback for non reciept of goods or services.

Despite elegro asking me to get my bank to start the refund process they are still not complying.

I am giving it 1 last shot with chase to process chargebacks and for the outcome of my complaint and then I will have to take it to the FOS.

I thought it would be a long but simple non reciept of goods or services.

Bank will not help you. About 1% of banks have started a charge back. They are working together with this illigal fraud companies. Forget the bank.

You can either go through the casino site where you lost the money

Or you can go through the merchant.
