A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Cardaq asks me for my card details next to my passport to make sure the card really belongs to me, if I don't send it they said the case won't proceed. However, I already successfully completed the kyc.

Do they think I'm just sending chargeback requests using someone else's card details in my good graces?🤣

This is clearly their way of frustrating us and I'm SURE eventually they will announce that you failed the review, the case will be closed.

Has anyone had any involvement with Kryptonim? I have contacted them but saying as I authorised they haven't broke any rules. I authorised the payment via a casino but they are saying I opened a wallet to pay them?

Also should I be targeting the payment processor not the merchant on my statement? Im getting confused 😐

I had two options to "verify" that the card belonged to me.

  1. A clear photo of you holding the card;
  2. A photo of your ID placed next to the card;

So either I send them selfies holding my card and get a response that the picture is not clear enough. Or I send them a picture of my ID card and my bank card next to each other. The strange thing is that I had to do the verification correctly via links and everything was supposedly so secure and before we could even open your information, complete the verification. Now they are asking me to send pictures of my ID and cards via basic email. Note. Not even a secure email. Ridiculous.

It has already been proven here that they do not process data in accordance with data protection law. I will be filing a complaint against them with the UK Data Protection Authority (ICO)

Same, but I sent them bank statements which are in my name and detail those cards, as some of them were virtual so I just said bank statements and KYC - if not accepted they’ll be reported to FCA
