A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

They can't, they'd have to send a representative to whatever country the customer is in and admit to using third party vendors, violating numerous laws across multiple jurisdictions etc, worst thing that can happen is CIFAS from the banks but that can be overturned with sufficient evidence, even then that would lead to banks investigating the merchants/casinos

You can't because when you pay by card they seem to vary who they use. Unless you can guarantee it's DSOLPAY you're running a very risky game - and still would be anyway. Best option is to stay as far away from them as possible

DSOLPAY is not the only processor that issues refunds, there a plenty especially when going down the goods not received. For example say you bought an Xbox from them and it’s not received they won’t be able to provide any tracking number or POD image.

you can also make fake invoices online for the order confirmation. You can definitely get refunds but using templates here and just expecting the casino or provider to refund you after one is email isn’t going to happen.

I was naive and thought honesty would be the best policy, learning curve i guess, can't reopen unfortunately. 100%, best move is to not gamble

Has anyone went down the legal route with any of these casinos? Sent a solicitors letter or anything?

Dear Players,

Santeda pride ourselves on providing a fair, transparent, and regulated gaming experience to all our customers. Our platform operates in full compliance with industry regulations and offers legitimate services based on established terms and conditions.

We want to remind all users that chargeback claims for losses incurred through legitimate gameplay are considered fraudulent actions. Any attempt to reverse payments after services have been rendered, regardless of the outcome, is not only a violation of our terms but also an abuse of the chargeback system.

Please be aware that we take any fraudulent activity seriously. Those found attempting chargebacks in bad faith may face immediate account suspension, legal action, and the involvement of relevant financial institutions to resolve the dispute.

We encourage all users to review our terms and conditions carefully and to reach out to customer support for any concerns.

Sincerely,

Santeda B.V.

If this is the real Santeda, which i highly doubt it is, your casinos are unlicensed, there is no regulation, you use third parties to process transactions, which is a violation of data protection laws. You have a history of legal difficulties due to the way your casinos operate. You don't even have a public address for your offices.

Always this scaremongering, strangely you haven't heard of a single case where the casino has taken the case to court in these cases if they are as right as they say.

This thread has been going on for a while and a lot of people have received chargebacks.

The only thing that happens is that they close your account and sell your information, it's noticeable because of all the email spam and text messages you get.

If it is really Santeda behind the account, please refund all my deposits to all your casinos, I have already reported you to all the authorities there are.

If Santeda International B.V. really operates in "full compliance with industry regulations," then you should have no issue confirming which authority issued your licence and providing the licence number.

It’s also misleading to claim that all chargeback requests are fraudulent. Chargebacks are a statutory consumer right when services are misrepresented, withdrawals are blocked, or the true merchant identity is hidden behind unrelated processors.

And let’s be clear: if you are operating unlicensed, your terms and conditions are irrelevant. Consumer protection laws override them, and customers are not bound by unenforceable agreements.

Threatening players with "legal action" for exercising their rights looks more like intimidation than transparency. A genuinely regulated operator would openly publish its licence, comply with exclusion schemes like GAMSTOP, and process withdrawals fairly. Until that happens, claims of being "fair and transparent" don’t hold weight.

Hahahaha!!! This is surely a p*ss take?

"Regulated gaming experience", "full compliance with industry regulations" - you accept UK customers! and UK customers on GAMSTOP!

"Immediate account suspension" - I think most here would be pleased with that at this stage

And finally, good luck taking legal action action...

As you've come to a public forum, could you explain three things:

  1. Are you legally allowed to accept UK customers given you are not a UK licensed operator?
  2. Why do you allow customers with an active GAMSTOP to play?
  3. Why are all your card and bank transfer payments directed through all sorts of murky merchants with wrong MCCs etc?

That’s so nice to see how they are afraid that even coming to this public chat 😅😅

Hahahaha they must be getting rinsed by the chargebacks. We must be making a dent into their millions and millions of profit from vulnerable people who they deceive along with the banks.

I'd imagine we're surfacing some issues to some of their payment providers that they didn't know about too (i.e. didn't know this was all going on and their infrastructure was being used for this)

If Santeda were truly fair, transparent, and regulated, you’d be licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and your payments wouldn’t hide under random merchant names.Your ‘terms and conditions’ mean nothing here because unlicensed casinos cannot legally operate in the UK. Players are within their rights to file chargebacks when transactions are misleading or unlawful. Threats of ‘legal action’ from an offshore company carry no weight in the UK. This just proves chargebacks are working — otherwise you wouldn’t be here trying to scare people.
