Hello,
kindly check the previous post, you'll find useful info about the casino there.
As far as I can see there are no unresolved complaints, so I'm assuming, that the casino may face some technical issue. Furthermore, the casino earned a good reputation, I hope it would be solved soon.
I'd ask the casino whether it is possible to opt for a different payment option.
Maybe it could help.
I had my Boomerang Casino account closed in writing on August 15, 2023, due to a gambling addiction, and the casino confirmed the account closure and my unsubscription from their mailing list via email. Despite this confirmation, I later received further promotional SMS messages and other advertising messages, even though I had explicitly requested that my email address and contact details be removed from all marketing and advertising distribution lists. Furthermore, despite the supposedly closed account, I was able to log back in, resulting in further deposits and losses totaling €1,630. After deducting €500 that had already been withdrawn, I am still claiming €1,130 back. The casino has so far refused a refund, referring only to a clause in their terms and conditions that allegedly states no refund is possible once a deposit has been wagered. My main point, however, is that an account previously closed due to gambling addiction was apparently not effectively blocked, and I was granted access to the platform again. Furthermore, despite my request to delete the emails, I consider the continued sending of promotional messages a violation of data protection regulations, as I believe my data should no longer be processed for advertising purposes. The casino appears to be licensed in Curaçao, which is why I would like to know if and how one can effectively file a complaint there. Therefore, I am asking the forum how the chances of success in a refund are assessed, which complaints authority would be most appropriate in this case, and whether I should also contact a data protection authority in addition to the licensing authority.
Thank you in advance for your opinions and suggestions.
Hello, that's sadly something that happens and if the advertising company is not capable or willing of excluding your email, we have no handy tips to fight it. Based on the problem gambling matters you described in many other threads, I would go for the more direct steps, such as deleting email accounts, changing phone numbers, and so on. Simply put, any technical obstacle you can put behind you and the casinos you've ever played at or perhaps aim to play at.
