WinSpirit Casino ignores active self-exclusion – player protection only facade
I would like to share my experience with WinSpirit Casino, especially with regard to dealing with problem gambling and so-called "responsible gaming."
In December 2024, I permanently closed my player account at my own request – due to my gaming behavior. WinSpirit confirmed this at the time, citing its own player protection measures. So far, so good.
But in May 2025, I was able to open an account again without the system preventing me from doing so. Only after I pointed this out did I receive a response saying that this "actually" shouldn't have happened. The casino writes:
> "We are aware that your first account [...] has been permanently closed. [...] Unfortunately, a new account was created under your name on May 28, 2025. [...] Although our system did not initially detect the duplication, rest assured that we take the security of our accounts and responsible gaming very seriously. Had the system detected this earlier, access would not have been granted."
So, they openly admit that opening a second account after a ban violates their own terms and conditions – and yet it was still possible. According to WinSpirit, this was a mistake on the casino's part. Nevertheless, the casino refuses to refund the funds I lost on the second account (approximately €200).
The worst part: According to the company's own statements, the system is still unable to reliably detect third-party accounts – meaning that any banned player can log back in at any time. This isn't an isolated incident, but rather a structural problem – or perhaps even part of a perfidious business model that specifically profits from previously banned players.
Conclusion: WinSpirit openly admits that new accounts are possible despite the ban, but refuses to accept responsibility or issue refunds. For me, this is further proof that player protection at many Curaçao casinos only exists on paper – and problem players are not protected but deliberately exploited.

Im Dezember 2024 ließ ich mein Spielerkonto auf eigenen Wunsch dauerhaft schließen – aus Gründen des Spielverhaltens. WinSpirit bestätigte dies damals und bezog sich auf die eigenen Maßnahmen zum Spielerschutz. Soweit so gut.
Doch im Mai 2025 war es mir möglich, erneut ein Konto zu eröffnen, ohne dass das System es verhinderte. Erst nachdem ich darauf hingewiesen habe erhielt ich die Rückmeldung, dass dies "eigentlich" nicht hätte passieren dürfen. Wörtlich schreibt das Casino:
> „Wir sind uns dessen bewusst, dass Ihr erstes Konto [...] dauerhaft geschlossen wurde. [...] Leider wurde am 28. Mai 2025 ein neues Konto unter Ihrem Namen eingerichtet. [...] Obwohl unser System die Duplizierung zunächst nicht erkannt hat, können Sie sicher sein, dass wir die Sicherheit unserer Konten und verantwortungsvolles Spielen sehr ernst nehmen. Hätte das System dies früher erkannt, wäre der Zugang nicht gewährt worden."
Hier wird also ganz offen eingeräumt, dass die Eröffnung eines zweiten Kontos nach einer Sperre gegen die eigenen AGB verstößt – und trotzdem möglich war. Es handelt sich laut WinSpirit also um einen Fehler des Casinos. Dennoch weigert sich das Casino, mir die auf dem Zweitkonto verlorenen Gelder (ca. 200 €) zu erstatten.
Das Schlimmste daran: Laut eigener Aussage ist das System bis heute nicht in der Lage, Drittkonten zuverlässig zu erkennen – was bedeutet, dass sich jeder gesperrte Spieler jederzeit erneut anmelden kann. Das ist kein Einzelfall, sondern ein strukturelles Problem – oder vielleicht sogar Teil eines perfiden Geschäftsmodells, das sich gezielt an ehemals gesperrten Spielern bereichert.
Fazit: WinSpirit gibt offen zu, dass trotz Sperre neue Konten möglich sind, verweigert aber die Verantwortung und Rückerstattung. Für mich ist das ein weiterer Beweis dafür, dass Spielerschutz bei vielen Curaçao-Casinos nur auf dem Papier existiert – und problematische Spieler nicht geschützt, sondern gezielt ausgenutzt werden.
