I won €50 with a free bet and then played a bit more. I wanted to withdraw when I reached €100, but it wouldn't let me because I hadn't made a deposit. So I asked the chatbot TEN TIMES how many times my deposit needed to be wagered before I could withdraw. TEN TIMES I was told I only had to wager the amount once. But as soon as I made the deposit, a window popped up saying I had to wager the amount 3 times!!?? Attempts to resolve the issue in the chat failed; they kept citing the terms and conditions. The chatbot was just talking nonsense, saying it had no bearing on my deposit!
And I find it very disappointing that Casino Guru didn't even accept my complaint about this case!!! On the contrary, despite clear screenshots, the casino was still vindicated based on its terms and conditions!!!
As far as I know as a merchant, offers made via chat are legally binding if they contain the essential contract terms (price, service, subject matter) and are accepted within a reasonable period.
Since I made the deposit immediately after the chat, this timeframe is perfectly reasonable! Furthermore, individual agreements take precedence over the general terms and conditions!
