This slot is themed around a gang of parrots-turned-pirates.
Players will wash up on a mysterious Caribbean island where feathered pirates await. With the help of these new avian friends, they might discover some buried treasure.
This slot is perfect for players who are looking for a comical vibe.
The soundtrack of Pirots brings to mind a traditional sea shanty with a chorus of men's voices blending with a string melody. Wins are celebrated with beeping sound effects that are decisively more modern.
The reels are crafted from the mast of a ship and plenty of rope. In the background, players will see an alluring tropical scene with the turquoise ocean in the distance and lush foliage in the foreground.
The Pirots themselves are an adorable crew of cartoon birds in a variety of vivid colors. Among the cast, players will meet a savvy captain with red feathers, a silly sailor with a blue head, and a wise old-timer with violet-purple plumage.
The bright colors of the Pirots are echoed by a variety of gem symbols. Sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and amethysts all sparkle on the reels.
Overall, the soundtrack and animation of Pirots create a cheerful world of seafaring fun.
Pirots is a five-reel, five-row slot.
Symbols are gathered as Birds move and collect Gem symbols that match their color. Birds may only collect Gem symbols that are orthogonally adjacent to them.
The pace of the gameplay is lively and swift, ensuring players will remain engaged.
The maximum win for this slot is 10,000x of the player’s total bet.
The Wild symbol substitutes for any Gem symbol at their current respective win level.
The White Upgrade symbol has the ability to upgrade Gem symbols of the same color as the bird that collected it. Multicolored Upgrade symbols upgrade all Gem symbols simultaneously.
A collected Transform symbol has the ability to change surrounding Gem symbols to match the Bird that collected it. Alternatively, these symbols may be transformed into a random number of feature symbols.
Coin symbols collected by a Bird multiply the current bet by its value, which can be as high as 500x.
Bomb symbols collected by a Bird have the ability to explode when no more wins are possible. This removes all symbols from the reels with the exception of the feature symbols. The reel area will also expand after the explosion, growing to a maximum size of 8x8.
If a Bird collects 3 Bonus symbols during a round, the Bonus Free Drops feature is triggered. The reel area, win level, and symbol collection will all remain as they are for the duration of the Bonus feature.
The return to player of this game is 94%, well below our yardstick for an average of roughly 96%.
The range of bets on the site we tested ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€0.20 up to a maximum of $/£/€100 per spin.
Medium-high volatility makes Pirots a moderately good match for our preferred slot machine strategies. Our slot strategies target the highest possible volatility.
We do not recommend this low RTP, medium-high volatility, pirate-parrot-themed slot.
Although the creative theme and unique bonus features are enticing, Pirots offers an RTP that is simply too low to merit a recommendation.
Mathematically inclined players would do well to seek a slot that can offer them a more favorable RTP.
