Theme and Storyline

Nitropolis 4 transports players back to a dystopian vision of Earth, now run by dogs and a selection of other animals.

In this new incarnation of the franchise, the canines head out to drill for oil in the sea. Out on the rig, there are many perils, and players will need to stay ahead of the pack if they want to walk away with black gold.

Fans of the previous games in the Nitropolis series may be especially drawn to this slot.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The soundtrack has an edgy, futuristic feel with plenty of digital notes and metallic clanging. This adds tension and upholds the gritty, oil rig atmosphere. Occasionally, a male narrator makes quips over a radio and dogs bark in response.

As players enter the slot, there is an animated intro that introduces players to the new ocean oil rig setting. High quality graphics and an amusing skit ensure that players will be engaged.

The reels themselves are placed within the ornate machinery of the rig. In the distance, players will see the sun setting in the hazy sky.

Among the symbols, there are several characters that players will recognize from previous Nitropolis slots. The cast includes a goofy pug, a savvy cat, and a stern rottweiler. A rat in a hardhat also makes an appearance, his eyes narrowed as he evaluates the player from his reel.

Gameplay

Nitropolis 4 is a six-reel, four-row slot. However, during each win an additional row is added, allowing the reels to grow up to eight rows tall.

Wins are awarded for landing matching symbols in adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel.
