It's the slot you've all been waiting for: this Games Global title is themed around pirate sharks! Or should that be shark pirates?
Jaws and Jewels Power Combo is set on a tropical island, but all is not quite as peaceful as it seems. You'll see the three cunning pirates at the top of the grid, just waiting for their opportunity to seize those jewels.
And the music? Well, let's just say that the soundtrack wouldn't be out of place in Pirates of the Caribbean or another swashbuckling film.
Jaws and Jewels Power Combo has been designed for mobile play, so we'd recommend using your phone to play if possible. The grid is a little small and hard to see on a desktop.
The game has six reels and four rows, with 30 active paylines in the base game and 56 in the Free Spins round. Line wins pay on adjacent reels from left to right, with the highest-paying symbols being the anchor, wheel, and hook.
There's certainly no shortage of special features here – Wilds, bonus rounds, and fixed jackpots are all part of the game.
Wild symbols can substitute for regular paying symbols to help complete winning combinations. Land the special Lucky Frame target over a Wild to trigger the Unfolding Wild feature, where the Wild expands into adjacent positions, giving you more chances to win.
Each of the three sharks represents a different bonus round: extra spins, a Multiplier, or the jackpot. You'll get into the bonus rounds by collecting the gem tokens for each shark. If you get enough tokens for any of the sharks, you'll randomly trigger the Giant Reels feature, where the grid expands to 56 paylines.
Our favorite feature is the fixed jackpot, which can pay up to 5,000x your stake. Land a Lucky Frame over a special Crate symbol and you might just reveal some Jackpot Jewels to nab yourself that maximum payout.
Jaws and Jewels Power Combo has a Return to Player (RTP) percentage of 94.54%, which is - unfortunately - below average. The slot's volatility is rated 4/5, which is relatively high. This means that in general, wins should be slightly bigger than on other slot games, although it might be a while before you land one.
You can stake between $/€/£0.20 and $/€/£40, and Jaws and Jewels Power Combo gives you the chance to win up to 5,000x your stake – decent, although not the biggest payout we've seen.
The fun and unique theme was the first thing that caught our eye when we opened this game, but the special features are what really make it shine. The Unfolding Wild and Giant Reels are great ways to bag yourself a win, but the star of the show is the Mega Jackpot, where you can win 5,000x your stake. If you want to dive right into something jam-packed with special features, Jaws and Jewels Power Combo is a great choice.
