An old European town forms the backdrop of this game, complete with quaint buildings and subtle animations. When you trigger a win, the symbols burst into flames on the reels, creating a dramatic effect. The music is slow-paced and relaxing, but don't let it lull you into a false sense of security - this is a really exciting game.
The band of unholy characters, like the Barmy Bishop and the Sly Sister, all pay out larger wins. The stained glass fruit symbols (the Godly Grapes and the Papal Pomegranate) are the lower-paying symbols. You'll need to land at least three of any symbol (or two of the Bishop) on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the paylines to win.
Holy Hand Grenade 2 is packed with special features, some of which are really unique.
The first feature to look out for is the Super Spinner. They're located between the reels, and if a winning line goes through a Super Spinner, you'll get a Multiplier.
The Holy Hand Grenade symbol can appear anywhere on the grid, and any position caught in its explosion will turn into a random symbol.
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols will get you 7, 9, or 11 Free Spins, respectively. During Free Spins, the grid is enhanced, so there are six reels, five rows, and 52 paylines.
If you land the Holy Hand Grenade symbols during Free Spins, you'll create sticky frames. Any frame caught in an explosion will trigger another Holy Hand Grenade feature.
Three or more of the Butcher icons trigger the Free the Goat feature. You'll get to lob grenades at the cage to free the goat - once it's out, the Multiplier prize displayed on the cage will be yours.

The volatility of the game is high, so while you might not win too frequently, you'll have a chance to land bigger wins when you do get lucky.
In our opinion, the theme of this game is really unique, plus there are some special features that we hadn't come across before. We liked the Free the Goat feature, as it feels a lot more interactive than standard free spins rounds. The maximum win amount of 30,000x your stake is very generous, and the high volatility means that wins can be pretty big.
