If you browse a traditional Asian market in the middle of a vibrant city, what will you find? Stalls selling fruit, local delicacies, excited children…and a happy little dragon! This Pragmatic Play slot features all of the usual Asian luck theming, plus the delightful little dragon character, who looks more like a cuddly teddy than a terrifying beast. We particularly liked how the dragon snaps a quick selfie every now and then.
The soundtrack is pretty much what you'd expect from an Asian slot game, featuring gentle keys and strings, overlaid with classic slot game noises when winning symbols land.
Happy Dragon has three reels, laid out in a 3-4-3 configuration. Get three matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right on one of the 10 fixed paylines, and you'll trigger a win. All of the symbols are themed, and the top ones to look out for include the golden bowl, the red lantern, and the purse overflowing with gold coins.
The game is completely optimized for mobile, so the grid is in portrait mode. If you want to play on your desktop, the grid doesn't change, but you'll just see more of the bustling city background.
Happy Dragon comes with a few exciting special features to keep you on your toes. Right below the grid, you'll see two Multiplier Reels. The first Multiplier reel contains blank symbols and 2x, 3x, and 5x values. The second Multiplier shows blanks and 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x values. If Multipliers land on either reel 1 or both reels, they'll be applied to your wins from that spin.
Whenever the dragon Wild symbol lands, the Free Spins feature can be randomly triggered. You'll get five free rounds, and the second reel is always filled with Wild symbols. The second Multiplier Reel can also show a new value of 100x.
