Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 is a China-themed slot with the usual red and gold color scheme and the golden hats, scrolls, money bags, and coins you would expect from a slot with this theme.
The closest thing the slot has to some imagination appears in the form of the White Rabbit who appears on the reels as a special symbol and gives the game its small amount of unique character.
This theme will appeal to fans of China-themed slots, but there is a lot of competition in the area that approaches the theme with more personality.
The graphics are one of the stronger parts of Fortune Rabbit Lock 2.
The artwork is nicely drawn and though the simple animations are juddery and have too few frames. They don't get in the way too much though and succeed in making the action clear and easy for the player to follow.
The music is a fairly forgettable track that adds a little Chinese flavor to an elevator music track.
The easiest way to summarise the front end is that Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 is not terrible by any means, but it consistently does everything a little below average.
Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 has a 3-4-4-4-3 pattern on its five reels that create 576 ways to win. This is because of the any-way-wins system that the game uses.
The maximum win on any given round is capped at 9,000x the player's bet.
Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 has a four-symbol high Wild symbol. Whenever a part of this symbol lands on a reel, it is nudged up or down until it fills the entire reel.
The Wild symbol substitutes for all other symbols except for the Scatter and Coin symbols.
There are two Bonus games. The first is a free spin bonus that is triggered when the player hits three or more Scatter symbols on a single spin. The player gets 10 spins for three symbols, 20 for four, and 30 for five.
During the free spins, the player can hit a random multiplier feature that will increase his winnings for that spin.
Coin symbols come with a randomized value on them. If six or more Coin symbols land on a single spin, then the Rabbit Coin Feature triggers.
Rabbit Coin Feature starts with three spins on the counter. Any Coin symbols become sticky and remain in place. If the player hits a new Coin symbol, the counter resets to three. The feature continues until the counter reaches zero. At that point, the player collects the value of all the Coin symbols on the reels.
In yet another way, Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 is just average. The game has a return to player (RTP) of 96.00%. This is exactly the yardstick we use for average.
The range of bets on the site we tested ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€0.30 up to a maximum of $/£/€150 per spin.
Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 is a medium volatility slot, making it a poor match for our preferred slot machine strategies. Our slot strategies target the highest possible volatility.
Fortune Rabbit Lock 2 is not very good. The theme and art are both solid, but tired and unimaginative.
The RTP and volatility are both middling and the music is actively annoying.
The bonus games are fairly typical, but nothing about this slot stands out or draws the player in. We do not recommend this slot.
