Are you crazy for cash? You might just get lucky enough to bank some cash when you play this fun and simple slot game.
According to PG Soft, Cash Mania has a whole backstory involving a fictional character called Derrick and a magic ATM. But you don't need to know all that. It's enough to say that the game looks like it's set inside a retro slot machine, but there's not a lot going on in the background, so you can really focus on the game grid.
The soundtrack is upbeat and vibrant, and it explodes into a dancey, electronic tune whenever you land a win.
Cash Mania is a very simple, three-reel slot. Rather than matching the same symbols on a payline, the aim here is to complete a combination that looks like a banknote. To do this, symbols with the same money values need to land on the left and right reels, with a symbol landing on the middle reel too.
The symbol in the middle can hold a multiplier of up to 100x your stake. If matching symbols appear on either side, the middle multiplier is applied to their value.
PG Soft tends to optimize games for mobile phones, and this slot is no different. We'd recommend opting for your phone over desktop, as the game grid is bigger and clearer on mobile.
If a symbol lands on the middle reel and two mis-matched symbols land on the left and right reels, the Respin feature will be activated. This gives you another chance to line up the symbols you want to see.
If there is no symbol in the middle but matching symbols land on either side, the middle reel will be nudged up or down one position.
You might be lucky enough to land a Free Spins symbol on the middle reel and matching symbols on the sides, in which case you'll get into the bonus round. The number of spins will be shown on the middle reel – you could bag up to 20 of them.
The minimum amount you can bet on Cash Mania is $/€/£0.30 per spin, which is a little higher than some other slot games we've seen recently. The maximum bet is $/€/£90 – standard for PG Soft titles.
Cash Mania is a high volatility game, so you're not likely to win all the time, but wins tend to be relatively big. Great news if you're chasing thrills. The game's Return to Player (RTP) percentage comes in at 96.75%, which is above average.
You can win up to 2,000x your stake when you play Cash Mania. This payout isn't the biggest, but it's still decent, especially if you're playing for higher value spins.
If you're a fan of simple games, we'd recommend you give this one a go. There are no complex gameplay mechanisms, and you don't need to wade through all sorts of bonus rounds to stand a chance at winning. But if you prefer the flashiness of modern video slots or if you're looking for a maximum win that's higher than a modest 2,000x, you might want to skip Cash Mania.
