A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

If gambling has been mentioned with Starling, then it’s like banging your head against a brick wall. Ultimately I got nowhere with the ones where I mentioned gambling, I put in complaints because of how evasive and unhelpful they’ve been, and received a tiny amount of compensation because the investigator agreed it was handled badly, but still refused to file chargebacks .

Only success I had with Starling was where I went goods not received, no mention of gambling, and could provide invoices.

You won't get far that way now. They've seemingly worked out how to tell they're gambling transactions and block chargebacks even if you have 'evidence' to the contrary.

Maybe. I think a lot of it is down to luck and who you have dealing with it. As I say, I had a successful one a few days ago using that method.

Are the casinos doing something if we are succesfull with the refunds?

I mean there are sitting in Curacao, what should they do?

Highly unlikely as they would have to admit to illegal practices so they take the small loss from what is a very small percentage of people, most don’t pursue the chargebacks or think they are playing at legit sites and keep on playing.

Hi, I cant tell you how much relief it has been finding this thread. I have 148 transactions with ‘DSOLPAY’ and have now requested a refund via [email protected] for goods not received. Can I please ask did everyone send screenshots etc first on initial email? Or after there reply am just a bit confused how they know who you are and how there able to refund you and what information I will have to give out. Thank you!

I didn’t have many so sent a screenshot of the debit from my account. I’d suspect they get the information from billing address tho. They refunded with no issues

Natwest has rejected my complaint, where they just rejected my chargeback (although technically they only mentioned one of them in their rejection emails).

Back then they said my chargebacks were fradudelent or indicating it, and I just stopped as I was too scared to do anything about it.

They have in my complaint addressed that the merchants disguised their code if they didnt use 7995, but they wouldnt be able to detect that.

And that I should have submitted further proof of contacting the retailers first, but they never asked me to do this when I contacted them. And they are now saying as it's been over a year, I can't do anything.

I would like to respond to them, before I go to FOS. The merchants have obviously breached the mastercard code, shouldn't have Natwest done more and asked me for more information? Any suggestions here?

Hello, they responded by asking me for the dates of the charges and the amounts. They also asked me to provide the first six digits of my card and the last four. Within two hours, they refunded my payments to my bank.

I'm now trying to find out if Swipez is linked to any other merchants besides Dsolpay. If anyone has that information, I'd really appreciate it.

If all goes well, I don't think you should have any problems! My advice would be, if you get any complaints, to issue refunds in blocks of 15-20 transactions. Once you've completed a block, request the next one until you've completed all of them. I wish you luck, my friend.
