A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Monzo. Loaded up on evidence for each and every transaction. E-Mail evidence, chat log, tied back a view of the deposits made against casino site (not mentioned or full screenshot of course as went down the lack of goods route).

They were a pain and after I'd gone through and disputed a load of transactions they then rejected all of them as they needed additional information that they previously hadn't mentioned (wanted receipts, order confirmations and product info). Managed to get it sorted very quickly but I believe from looking at this forum DSSERVLTD are one of the merchants people have luck with.

You did well then, as I get the impression Monzo are as reluctant as Starling to make chargebacks.

As you were paying on a gambling site called "http://Mystake.com" which seems to be a legit website and has a good number of reviews and past history of providing legit service to their customers. Additionally, the support team is responsive on Trustpilot as well, which shows that the support team is co-operative and helpful to the customers thus your case is related to a civil dispute. We’ve reviewed your report and, unfortunately, we’re unable to help further.

WOW

They must be over-sighting the fact that

It is illegal to transact with, or advertise to, consumers in Great Britain without a licence.

That explains them trying to cover Mystake in sugar. The journalist I’m in contact with is going to be going to Revolut and asking some questions…

If you want some asking yourself drop me an email and I’ll forward it on to him?

the more the merrier, here we have revolut again…

I have 4 with the ombudsman now and they haven’t been assigned to a case handler for over 2 months. When they do assign someone they then give Revolut or whoever up to 90 days to resolve!!! It’s crazy

An update from PisStake...oh sorry, I mean MyStake.

"Hope this email finds you well.

We would like to reiterate that, as per the Terms and Conditions of our website, you are not eligible for a refund.

While we understand your request, our primary commitment is to uphold the rules and principles that govern our platform, ensuring fairness and consistency for all participants.

Thank you for your understanding. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us."

This is a response to a Curacao LAWYERS letter to them. This is how much they care about laws and global financial rules! These are old transactions for me outwith the scope of chargeback now but the guy who used to post on here provided some detail on Mastercard and lawyers. I lost about 12000 Euro on this site so the lawyers fees might be worth it. Depends how much you are in for but Im giving it a shot. Chances of resolving directly with these crooks is almost zero.

Just had an update from FOS today that they don’t think Revolut did anything wrong even though they allowed me to transfer 20k in one evening to Falcora Finance despite me asking for help and to disallow it on several occasions because of my gambling addiction and Revolut also lying about attempts to recover my funds. Not even a token amount of compensation, nothing at all. My FOS ‘investigator’ used to work for a bank though as I found out by Googling him, they’re all on the same side. 👍

The FOS in the UK haven't had public pressure yet. Once that happens they will change their tune - all of this is based on momentum and making the issue public as much as possible.

Currently in an absolute slog of a battle with Monzo over getting some Terrvers transactions disputed.

They’ve come back 3 or 4 times with requests for different evidence, emails to different addresses, complained about how some of my screenshots have been cropped?! Absolutely unreal lengths they’ve gone to stop this going any further. Every time they’ve asked for different evidence they’ve cancelled the original disputes and asked me to submit new ones, which anyone will know is a time-consuming task on Monzo. They won’t let me add multiple transactions to have had to dispute each of 22 transactions seperately, multiple times. Painful.

Still going though, and have given them everything they’ve asked for so far. If they do ultimately decide against raising chargebacks, I feel like I’ve got a decent case for the ombudsman given how utterly unhelpful they’ve been

I have done exactly the same with Monzo- they won't budge.

I currently have x2 complaints with the FOS re Monzo and their shenanigans

They’re an absolute joke.

The funny thing is they (accidentally?) accepted one of my 22 separate disputes based on just the initial evidence I uploaded. Unfortunately it was one of the tiny ones for about £80. Surely that is evidence they should accept them all?

4 Gaiw-Deposit chargebacks just dropped into my account (Revolut)

Nearly a grands worth

It is, yes. What was the outcome?

Make sure you save all the evidence for the Ombudsman.

That’s showing inconsistencies in procedures.

If one can be accepted and raised, all of them can.

They are all over the place 😂
