In my case, the merchant provided fake invoices 30 days after Revolut raised the dispute. Then Revolut rejected the chargeback saying the merchant sent solid proof. Case lost and closed.
It depends what the merchants do, some have started falsifying invoices but many do not bother responding. Mastercard is a pain and the banks that use it equally challenging especially the neobanks, high street ones
slightly better but it’s just a waiting game which seems to take forever
