A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Damn, raising these with Lloyds sounds like a bad idea. Kinda sound like they tried to close peoples bank accounts. Well, i do not know how it will work with me been constantly overdrawn. Probably have to re-mortgage, if thats possible for me. Saying that its only a about a grand

Raise under goods not received, if they threaten bank closure can just open another. Mortgage shouldn’t have to be linked to account, I have first direct account for main use and Halifax mortgage

I also have my Mortgage with Halifax. So its unlikley I would be de-banked. If Lloyds are unwilling to resolve I might just take it as a loss, as it was my mistake in the first place anyway.

I would 100% do goods not received and use any emails you have or just make up emails sent to show nothing received.

Hello guys. Slightly different question so sorry to jump on.

if I had an account with donbet, and I closed it because I let them know i had a gambling problem. If I then signed up again a year later, and verified my account, can I go down the irresponsible gambling route, as they shouldn’t have allowed me to gamble? Albeit I did use a different email address

They will more than likely say you have gone against their terms by creating multiple accounts to get around it

Replied to this but it has gone to review - they will say you shouldn’t have opened multiple accounts

How did you get Banco Santander to refund your money? I'm trying, but it's almost impossible.

They will just quote terms and conditions, worth an email but low chance of refund

Already emailed them on the 5th May requesting charge backs. So is it to late to request via goods not received?

Have you mentioned gambling? If so not sure if I am honest, changing of story usually a red flag, suppose if it fails go back and say it’s not gambling these are the goods I haven’t received and try again
