A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Cheers Paul - I have that on the phone just a pain as it’s easily removed that’s what happened last time, will keep it on and just work on not doing it again.

Hopefully they agree to move onto arbitration, will be interesting to see if evidence does arrive and what that actually is.

Hi, I also have CreativeStudio London on my account, but that's all, if you find out an address I would appreciate it if you could tell me too. I found out some address but no one is answering. Thanks

Hi all,

Found this website via Co pilot hoping it helps you all. Some have come up as the contact details some are missing still. Play around use any details you can in the search from card statements.

Most don’t show up but the odd one where I can search retailer number has done.

I don’t want to go into too much detail incase others are struggling and end up doing it but yeah few clicks on the right items in setting on iPhone and it’s off in seconds. I wish it was impossible to remove as will power alone ain’t doing it for me lately but 9 days without gambling so on the right track again

Yeah cards are gone and to be fair I only use the credit card and clear that weekly seems to be more protection that way as limits cash for use in bookies which is what I have managed last 9 months on them. Just these online ones that had a relapse with, good news is I only owe £608 on credit card and I am due back £1400 on the credit card and £800 via debit card so if only a fraction get approved I should be grand

I am fairly hopeful with the credit card ones as 10 transactions and 6 were over £100

which usually prompts the card company to chargeback quickly so they are not liable under section 75. Almost every single one is digital goods/services and I think all linked to Terraverse due to names so again hoping they just do it and no response

Anything back helps especially if it clears debt. Like you I will draw a line under it after mid July as that’s the deadline on Chase. Barclaycard should notify me quicker so hopefully all good

Has any found that just been totally transparent with your bank works. I generated a letter from A.I thats sounds quite compelling. The letter makes it sound like the bank are to partly blame for allowing these transactions going through. Basically says if I do not get my monies back I can take this onto Financial Ombudsman Service.

Does anyone know how they manage these situations?

I find it varies:

When honest with Barclays it was rejected then overturned on complaint, I have gone goods not received this time which isn’t a lie as nothing has been received from

merchants.

Chase will not entertain gambling so you can only do goods.

The benefit of being truthful and getting it processed means it’s failsafe but Banks can reject and do you want to chance it with complaints/fos

What do you mean by chance it with FOS? could this affect me in some way?

FOS is there for when you don’t agree with the outcome of the banks complaint. So on a timeline:

Raise with bank they refuse

You complain they reject

You go FOS - Will you win? That’s the chance you take, there is no affect on the outcome it just depends if you can convince them.

This has to be considered if going incorrect MCC etc/ mentioning gambling. I have done both ways and goods is much easier but risk is they provide dodgy invoices
