A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Just a word of warning for people raising chargebacks for goods not received, I did this with Lloyds against coolcs2 and my bank contacted me asking for receipt of purchase etc! So not always the best route to go down

You will not get funds back from Pulsion. They will 100% challenge all and any chargebacks.

They don't care mate. They will lie. There are others the same like Kinguin. They simply fabricate information and get away with it.

I think members of this forum should put more negative reviews out for these shady companies to draw eyes to it. I recently have had 1 approved on Trustpilot.

I have loads against these companies - sadly doesn't make any difference when casino forums and places are still giving them reviews of 8 and 9 out of 10!!

Yeah, exactly — I’ve always found it strange that even sites like Casino Guru don’t highlight these kinds of practices more clearly on their review pages.

There should be upfront warnings that these casinos operate without UKGC (or equivalent) protection, and that players have zero recourse if something goes wrong. Right now, too many people assume they’re safe just because the sites look polished or have decent ratings.

I would advise everyone to not even bother trying to contact these merchants anymore. Only about 1% of them even bother to refund directly and even if they do reply they just try and get information out of you... Just go to the bank and try approach it from the best angle. I have messed up some of my chargebacks by giving the merchants my details, they used them against me to create fake accounts and invoices etc...

There are some deposits I made where I was truthful about the gambling because I had enough evidence to prove it was transaction laundering. For some others where I had found the merchants website etc, I just told them I bought goods and never got them. Always refer to the merchants terms & conditions if you can find them, as most of them have these on their website.

Most importantly, take this as a lesson to never gamble again because if we all keep using these websites, they will continue to make fake companies etc. It is all being funded with OUR money...

My life has been nothing but stress and anxiety, financially and mentally since last December because of this bs. I've learnt my lesson and I urge any of you that do get your money back , hide it away and dont go back!

In fairness on here they do clearly mark them as "Do not accept players for the UK". Yet clearly they are openly accepting and advertising to players in the UK!

Yes the most important thing here is that NOBODY else gives them any money - it enables them to continue this fraud. Just get chargebacks raised and spend your money on something better. These companies and networks are complete criminals so I wouldn't be regularly looking to do this with many of them.

Yes it is very worrying and to be honest I've had to charge back so much money I will forever be worried about who has got my details etc. Very scary

That’s true — to be fair, Casino Guru does list Betti as "not licensed in the UK," which is a good start.

But, they do also show a green tick next to "Accepts players from United Kingdom" — which kind of contradicts the warning. If a site accepts UK players and isn't licensed here, that’s a red flag that should be made way more prominent.

Plus, I noticed Betti’s page still shows bonus information and a "Visit Casino" button, which makes it feel more like an affiliate promotion than an impartial warning. That kind of thing can be confusing to new players and undermines the idea that they’re trying to protect users.

Just feels like there’s room for platforms like this to be more transparent — especially when people are losing money through MCC-masked transactions and have no way to raise complaints with the UKGC.
