A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

They did try and block some of their websites but they haven't dished out fines as of yet, i think the authorities need to be real heavy handed with this stuff, i'm half hoping they're waiting to hit them with everything at once.

I know Australia and Spain have but UKGC have not done anything to even warn them off and they have a significant number of sites which are constantly and very obviously advertised through UK URLS

because they believe you are an addict and you'll relapse and spend it back and they will process it again if you ask for a refund again they'll tell you already signed a contract not to seek a refund again. they will refund you for your first time

I spoke with this company on the telephone months ago when I first noticed them. They said they would refund and then blocked my details. I can’t believe that is deemed as proof. It’s laughable. Their website looks like something from the 1990’s. It’s clear no one uses it. Their payments are processed by Stripe who will give you all the information you need about the company but won’t help you get a chargeback which is criminal

Revolut declined my claim and won't give me the chance to refute. They said the merchant sent them solid proof to reject the chargeback. Basically they uploaded some fabricate evidence in microsoft word and they copy/paste their website logo on top. So i had to ask them to reconsider my claim in a separate complaint form. And yes, on the first page of their proof there's a Stripe logo.

Contact stripe and explain the situation because even though they don’t handle chargebacks they do reach out to the merchant on your behalf

I have sent this Revolut today with thr FOS copied in I doubt it will work though:

Hello,

I still think these chargebacks should be raised I have read of other people getting them raised for the same thing and being successful.

I am also reading that the way the money is taken is classed as an illegal action under Mastercard and Visa rules and this is becoming more and more frowned upon.

I have the case currently opened with the FOS against you but it would be far easier if you just simply raised the chargebacks.

What are your thoughts.

Regards Paul.

lol Use chat gpt, he will draft you a very strong letter. i wouldn't be able to raise my chargebacks with Revlout if it wasn't for Chat gpt, it gave me strong words, I copied and pasted to revlout, they didn't even hesitate

I tried that before with help of Chat gpt, their response was just their standard nonsense "card rules" "our decision is final" blabla.

This time i included: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2025/mar/09/mastercard-and-visa-linked-to-gambling-sites-accused-of-scamming-uk-customers

And other information in the mail.

What did Revolut say to you when they raised the chargebacks? Thx

they said same thing then I told them that the chargebacks were already raised and became invalid due them being misclassified in wrong category.

i have the right to re raise them under the correct category

they said it's so challenging to overturn the decision

what can I say

i did overturn the decision by showing them evidence and highlighting communications between me and the casino and the merchants as well.
