A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I’m going to try and answer in the order you’ve asked;

  1. Mine were all card payments. I had some bank transfers but they were 2024/2025 so I’ve just written those off.
  2. I contacted or attempted to contact all merchants in the first instance so that if I had to go down the chargeback route, I could evidence trying to contact.
  3. I chose goods and services for the first chargeback I submitted. It was for Solarbee. It was successful. When I raised another chargeback against a different merchant, I chose same reason and Revolut declined to raise.
  4. It was after the decline that I spoke to a Revolut agent through the app. They spent a lot of time going through questions and evidence with me, and then they raised the bulk chargebacks. In total it was 5 different merchants and circa 80-90 transactions. 20 of them have been successful last week and awaiting outcome of the others.

What are you claiming the money back for? That’s going to be your starting point in terms of which route to go through. Is the casino refusing a withdrawal? Have they bypassed a gambling block? I’ve not dealt with bank transfer recalls although a few on here have so might be more info from them.

I would suggest as a starting point to contact the merchants. Who are they?

Thank you for sharing your experiences with Revolut—it was very informative. It’s good to know you’re in the same situation as me. I’ve also made 100% bank transfers through Revolut and not a single card payment. So we have the same circumstances. Let’s help each other and try to make the best possible out of this situation, brother.

I'll just write in German, since you're German too.

It would be important to know whether you made your payments via Revolut as a bank transfer or card payment. During your first (successful) callback, you indicated "Goods not received" as the reason for the cancellation, correct? I would now select "Other" as the next reason and write your own short and honest explanation. Be completely honest about why you want to call back. I would write something like "illegal online casino," "gambling problem," etc.

Interesting ..

So you contacted "kryptonim" directly via mail and asked them for a refund of the deposits, right?
