Question about Gambling websites with Curaçao license using incorrect Merchant Category code (page 1,502)

Hello. What should I do if I believe Xpate submitted falsified or misleading documents in the chargeback process? What steps should I take now? Has anyone here experienced a similar situation?

Hi. I used the following statement in my chargeback against Xpate: "The service I received differed substantially from the description available before payment. Important functionality was missing, preventing me from using the service as intended. My attempts to resolve the matter directly with the merchant were unsuccessful."

Do you think this is a solid basis for a chargeback? Has anyone used a similar explanation and had a successful outcome?

Barclays been pretty adamant with me on disputes. Didn’t you use the service as intended because you gambled with the money?

I’m not an expert on chargebacks but believe you’re best being totally honest with them. Think a few people have had their bank accounts shut down from raising too many

Just that they were miscoded gambling transactions etc. if you go on chatgpt it can write you up a decent email.
