A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Yes it was, I was fully honest with Virgin Money, they were really good with the whole thing……the chargebacks were DSOL PAY….

Dsolpay is Swipez.eu which was fined and dissolved by the Czech National Bank in November for fraud. All banks know this. If banks refuse to raise them, take them to fos, as even CNB released a statement saying all funds should be returned. Is on this thread somewhere too.

I wrote a letter of complaint initially saying I had been gambling on offshore sites and that now my credit card had been abused I was struggling to make payments, ideally I wanted them to freeze interest or do something to help me with it.

i got a phone call explained the whole situation, and 2 weeks later I got a letter saying they had put £7400 through for chargebacks, and that they would have 30 days to dispute them.

all went undisputed so my card got paid off and I was able to withdraw the difference!

Yeah they just ignore and setup other fake company names. There's an endless amount of them based at 128 city Road, London. Banks know full well what's going on, too much money passing through to do anything about it. Also yours was credit card which helps. If you mention gambling for mastercard debit, it will be shut down straight away.

Has anyone complained to their bank about excessive deposits and not being flagged as a duty of care? My bank have shut me down saying not their fault as wrong mcc despite 15k being spent in weeks due to a huge relapse 😢so next steps are going to the ombudsman. Interested if anyone has gone this route and the outcome.

You would have to go with a lawyer and sue the bank for breach of duty. I don't know the outcome, but there are some options.

`What is the different between E-bank and Simple bank in UK?))))

It's a shame, but that's the reality... The bank believes you intentionally violated the rules and therefore closed the account. The ombudsman or regulator won't help.

It seems there is things happening with payop/transferop? Been told you can't deposit with them with an UK bank account anymore. Any chance of getting refunds from them coming up perhaps?

To be honest, I had 3 refunds from a company that ended up being reverted. Banks have to process and accept refunds, don't be surprised if a certain bank blocks these, as no doubt they are the acquiring bank in a lot of these transactions
