I think it's the right step to file a complaint, since the casino can't answer you within the KYC.
As far as the safety index (rating) is concerned, I always recommend you to do at least a little research about it before you decide to play in a casino. User reviews or complaints can help in this case too and therefore the player will have at least some information about where he is going to deposit his money. I think you'll definitely do that next time, am I right ?

I had an account there, managed to withdraw two times if I remember correctly, I think in total I cashed out 700 USD approximately, KYC is enforced after 2k USD/EUR in cumulative withdrawals, both withdrawals took less than 4 hours. One thing I know is their support is horribly slow, so KYC definitely can take ages to be completed in case they have the intention of paying out (eventually)

This is exactly what happened to me in a casino related to this one last year, requested a withdrawal, they enforced KYC, sent my documents and they took around one month to verify them, during that month I was completely ignored too, no live chat and no support by mail. All you can do by the moment is file a complaint and wait, hopefully they will react to it.
Also try to contact them through telegram, I remember I communicated with someone from this casino through telegram with an user they gave me on a promotional mail, maybe it's still active

Always make sure to check what the users say about each casino, time ago I warned this casino being related to Slotella (which used to be a real casino and now it seems it became a scam casino), there are two others who are also related to Slotella and Slothub (morespin and slotpot), so be careful is you come across these sites.
I suppose these are casinos run by a hidden conglomerate who open many casinos under different groups with the sole purpose of scamming users when they get enough cash to run with, I truly believe this is the case, I can't be wrong, I was right when I closed my account in this casino because I thought they would become a scam just like slotella, out of all the times I felt there was something fishy with any casino I have not being wrong so far π sadly I don't think there is much to do to recover your money, when a casino decides to scam users there is nothing to do

Opened an account there, they gave me a 250 bucks balance, had some fun with it to be honest, doesn't change the fact they are related to all these other scam casinos. I already closed my account there, live support is horribly slow, so you can definitely tell they will also take slothub and slotella's path sooner or later, be careful, don't deposit there or on any other site related to this casino

In my opinion, more important than licenses and points is the ability to withdrawal.

I think that casinos that will probably collapse will have a longer withdrawal time.
For example, someone applies for a withdrawal. And if it is taking longer than the most recent withdrawal time infomation, the someone can also assume that something is wrong.

To your suggestion, not bad, but how would you define the threshold separating longer than usual from "acceptable"? You need to measure that for each country, payment option, KYC, and still you won't get close results, I'd say.
