I recently opened what I thought was a new account on Instaspin casino. I took £100 yo to £540 so decided to withdraw £400. Done all my verification to then be told that my account would be closed and only the £100 refunded due to me already having had an account that had been closed. I used all the same details name, date of birth, address and phone number when signing up so I didn’t manipulate any details. Does anybody know if I have a case to receive my full balance?


i have argued with them that had I lost the initial £100 deposit then that would not have been refunded but they keep avoiding that point in out messages!


If anybody know what steps I can take in perusing this then please let me know, thanks

Hi, the important thing in this case is whether you are aware that you had another account there that was closed and whether this is true. The other thing I'm wondering is why did you close it? 

If you had an account there and you created another one, you can be glad that you got a refund and they didn't take everything because that is often a violation of casino rules. 

But I won't jump the gun and I'd rather have it explained to me.

Genuine mistake really I have played at so many different casinos I forgot I had signed up to that particular 1, and seeing as I used all the same details you would think that it would be flagged and stop me creating a duplicate account.


interested to know what might have happened had I not won and continued making deposits, would they have refunded them all one I tried to make a withdrawal? I understand that the casinos hold all the power in these circumstances but it seem completely unreasonable

I understand and it's a great question. If they let you deposit then they should give you everything you deposited there but of course sometimes it depends on the circumstances of the case. The best thing would be if, as you said, the casino was notified right at registration that an account with the same data exists, or has self-exclusion and so on. This is not always the rule and therefore players have to watch out for such situations.

Hello, I don't think there's much we can do to help you with this because if there was, we'd certainly try. If you have multiple accounts then it doesn't matter who you find, but I don't think it will be possible to get more out of the casino. 

So even though I'm very sorry, it's a lesson for the future not to create multiple accounts, as many casinos don't have a mechanism to detect this when you register.
