You're in the same boat as me. All three lawyers from Pokers..., whose two managing directors were standing there with very depressed expressions, were involved. I instructed my lawyer (based on very thorough research with various sources) to negotiate a settlement valid for 7 days, with a confidentiality clause and some very good offers (the stupidest thing PS could do to reject would be). My lawyer told me, "We're not just pursuing one case against these managing directors, but several. It's the same situation everywhere. We're weakening our own position if there are ever any serious settlement negotiations if we offer concessions now – out of the blue." I'm starting to feel like my lawyer is working against me and is only interested in the commission on the total sum. I'm prepared to settle everything with 85 percent of the total amount and don't want either of the managing directors, especially one of whom resides in Greece, to risk having a bailiff show up or their accounts frozen, as they really have a lot to lose, and PS will never get to that point. It's possible to let it go because there's so much more at stake... so I think it could all be resolved if the lawyers addressed it at the right point. I'd be happy to send you more information by email. Perhaps two heads of paper could help achieve something to bring this to an end...
The problem is, the lawyers make huge amounts of money from it…
There will eventually be a general settlement, I think with 65-70%, and the PFs will then have to divide the money proportionally.
What I've observed in recent years is that the lawyers don't really show any commitment; they just wait until the OCs pay up on their own, and they won't, because nothing will happen to them. Even account seizures, which the ECJ has "permitted," aren't being carried out, at least not in our group's cases.
The whole situation is bleak and very demoralizing, but I would also advise the OCs not to pay, because nothing will happen to them, and the CEOs... well, they "don't have any money" anyway; it's all shrouded in secrecy and nobody can touch it. You can demand anything, but if there's no value, you don't have to pay – end of story.

I'm curious to see how many new companies will be founded to circumvent the 18-month deadline and, of course, the rulings as well…
The planned reform examines the true beneficial owners and the management behind the scenes. Any attempt to evade payments by establishing legitimate subsidiaries or changing the company name will be blocked by the gambling authority. They, of course, also want to collect the taxes retroactively 😉
