They should definitely let you know that they can do so in the Terms and Conditions. Maybe the casino considers that they let you know just by email when you received it. It shouldn't be a stretch, but if you only had one withdrawal of €400 before, they probably didn't have to write it to you at the time and there was nothing to split. 

Now that you had more withdrawals, it's not the first time I've seen that happen. It would be important to me that you get the money when the date comes.

I deleted the post because to edit it, an admin’s approval was needed, and that took quite a while.
