Case summary

The player from Iran faced account blocking after successfully completing multiple withdrawals, including earnings from a mini-jackpot. Despite the withdrawals being initiated, the casino canceled them and eventually blocked the player’s account. The player explained that VPN use was necessary due to internet restrictions in Iran and confirmed successful KYC verification with accurate information. However, the casino’s terms prohibited VPN use, leading to account suspension and forfeiture of winnings. We concluded that assistance could not be provided because the player violated the casino’s rules by using a VPN.

I live in Iran, and after 15,16days, I was able to connect to the international internet using the Windscribe VPN. But since its location was the US, and the application doesn’t run with a US location, I had to connect using the Psiphone VPN to an Asian country(India) and then launch the application.

After the deposit, I received seventy-seven free spins in the bonus section. Around 3:30 PM Iran time, I started playing with this bonus, and quite a bit. Then, around 5:30, I started playing again, and I was able to earn thirty-seven dollars from this bonus, and I withdraw it via TRON.

After that, with the four tons I had deposited in the morning, I went over and sat at the poker table. And after a while of playing, at one of the tables, my hand became a higher full house, and the mini-jackpot at the Hold’em table was shared between me and the other player. I received 109dollars from this mini-jackpot.

And then I withdraw it, which amounted to about 70ton. But my withdrawal was canceled. I withdraw it again. But this time, my account was blocked.

That was the whole event that happened that day, and you can see it in my game history.

Dear Mustang8282,

Thank you very much for submitting your complaint. I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Please allow me to ask you a few questions, so I can understand the whole situation completely.

  1. Could you kindly provide clarification on your reasons for utilizing a VPN?
  2. Have you successfully completed the KYC verification process with this casino? If you have, was all of the information you provided, including your country of residence, accurate and truthful?
  3. Is it permissible for you to register with 1Win Casino from your country of residence?

I hope we will be able to help you resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Best regards,

Attila

Dear Attila,

Thank you very much for your response and for reviewing my complaint. I appreciate your assistance and I am happy to provide clarifications.

Use of VPN

Because the internet in Iran had been blocked for about 15-16 days, I was only able to access the global internet using the Windscribe VPN. However, since the Windscribe location was in the US and the 1Win application did not work with a US location, I had to switch to the psiphone VPN and connect through an Asian country, specifically India.

KYC Verification

I have successfully completed the KYC verification process, and all the information I provided, including my country of residence, was accurate and truthful. I have also communicated this via email and received confirmation from the security team that my account has been verified.

Registration Legitimacy

It has been permitted, as I have repeatedly informed them that I am from Iran, and the documents I submitted were Iranian, through which they verified my identity.

I hope these clarifications help resolve the issue promptly. Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

Dear Mustang8282, thank you for clarifying. I have read the casino's Terms and Conditions and this is what I have found:

5.4. The use of VPNs, proxies, or any other tools to mask or alter your geographic location while accessing our Services is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be using such tools, you may be held liable for any resulting damages, including but not limited to the suspension or termination of your account and forfeiture of winnings.

The problem with using the VPN is that you might be involuntarily connected to another IP address that is related to a different casino account in the same gambling establishment, hence, it seems as if you created multiple accounts from one IP address. Or, on the other hand, a player might be using VPN to hide that they’re accessing the casino’s website from a restricted jurisdiction. While I understand that your country is not a restricted geolocation, the usage of VPN is forbidden by the casino and I'm afraid we won't be able to assist you.

Best regards

Attila
