Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The visuals on Buffalo King are pretty nice. The animals are rendered in dramatic colour schemes. Both the background and the reels seem coloured by the blood red and deep purple of a desert sunset.

The animations are a little underwhelming, a subtle swelling of the symbols indicates a win. But it is easy to miss. But such things are small beer in a slot that pops visually the way this one does.

The music is all dirty banjos and soft fiddles. Real wild west music. But played down enough that they feel more atmospheric than harmonic. The result is something with subtle character, and which isn’t jarring for the player to listen to at great length.
