Theme and Storyline

Flaming Fox has a decidedly Kung Fu Panda kind of vibe. The main character, the titular Flaming Fox, is a 3D digimation animal with some mystical martial arts training and the ability to levitate as he meditates.

The background is a combat dojo where the Flaming Fox clearly trains. The symbols flesh out the world further. There are ninja masks, footwear, weapons and scrolls, which all hint at a deeper mythology.

The result is a game that feels like it has a full story behind it, even if all it really has is one character and a setting.

The graphics on Flaming Fox are outstanding. Not only are all the elements beautifully designed, but they are brought to life with excellent animations that are detailed in all the right ways but never too busy or dragged out.
