Theme and Storyline

Trolls Bridge 2 is set before the drawbridge of a rough and ready looking stone keep full of trolls and set about with skulls on stakes and huge bone-like spikes.

It’s a fun World of Warcraft style cartoon fantasy realm with plenty of attention paid to the many troll characters who populate the reels.

The goal is to storm the fort and steal the treasure, hopefully getting away clean with plenty of gold.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

Yggdrasil Gaming always knock it out of the park on the audiovisual side of things. Trolls Bridge 2 is no exception.

The graphics are excellent, the symbols have the range and character of Disney cartoon characters, with each troll giving you a sense of being an individual with troll hopes and troll dreams.

The animations that accompany the spin and win sections of the games are bright and clear, and are augmented with nice sound effects. The whole effect is then topped by an orchestral backing track that feels like it could be out of a film.

Gameplay

Trolls Bridge 2 is played on five reels with four rows and twenty win lines.

Occasional large 2x2 or 2x4 symbols can fall on the reels. In the base game, this is limited to 2x4 blocks of random high symbols, while in the free spins it can be either 2x2 or 2x4 blocks of any high symbols, including Wilds.

Randomly triggered multipliers can add to the variety in the gameplay too, as does the huge array of features that can be applied to the free spin bonus (see below for details). All this adds up to exceptional gameplay that should engage and delight most players.

Wilds, Bonuses and Free Spins

In the base game the Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Free Spin symbol. There are three additional special Wilds that appear as parts of features.

Hitting three or more Free Spin symbols triggers the Free Spin Bonus. The Free Spin bonus starts with a picking game which determines which of 18 features are active during the free spins.

The available features in the picking game range from simple multipliers and additional free spins, to additional Wild symbols, special Wild symbols, and randomly transforming low value symbols into high value symbols.

The more Free Spin symbols the player has in the triggering spin, the more free spins and picks the player receives. For example, three Free Spin symbols win the player five free spins and three picks. Players who have activated the Golden Bet receive one extra pick during the picking game.

The picking game results in a different bonus every time, making for an exciting and varied game.

There is also a Bonus symbol that lands on reel five and can trigger the Free Spin Bonus or award up to 1,250 coins.
