Theme and Style

Saint Nicked 2, brings back the bad Santa from the first Saint Nicked. As the opening titles explain, Santa has "forsaken" his duties in order to throw a "naughty list-only party." There will be drinking and dancing, and someone is probably going to end up in the drunk tank.

This slot will appeal to anyone who likes the movie Bad Santa or who prefers their Christmas entertainment with a bit of edge.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The graphics for Saint Nicked 2 are very detailed but seem designed to be played full screen on a decent-sized device. This level of detail and size does not work very well on mobile or screen-within-screen.

The animations aren't bad. They do not match the artwork's level of effort and detail, but they are fairly clear and are accompanied by fun sound effects to build atmosphere.

On the soundtrack, a drunk Santa shouts at the player during the spins in a series of pre-recorded snippets. These barks can get tiring pretty quickly as do the slightly off-key renderings of popular Christmas carols.

Overall, this slot is well designed and will bring players into its world, but a lot of players are likely to find that world somewhat irritating to visit. However, if you are willing to go with it, this is a very good version of the thing it is trying to be.

Gameplay

Saint Nicked 2 has an anyway wins system where wins are generated by landing matching symbols in consecutive reels starting from the right. The symbols can be anywhere on each reel. Since Saint Nicked 2 is a big slot with six reels and four symbols per reel, this makes for 4,096 different ways to win.

During the base game, a Collect symbol allows the player to win the value of any Money symbol that lands during that spin. It also unlocks a Collect symbol on another reel, making such wins more likely on future spins.

The Wild symbol appears on all reels and can substitute for any symbol except for the Collect, Money, and Scatter symbols.

Three or more Scatter symbols on one spin pay from any position on the reels and trigger the Free Spin bonus. The player always gets ten spins, but if they trigger the bonus with more than three Scatters, the player also receives a payout that increases with each Scatter they hit.

During the Free Spin Bonus, hitting Collect symbols earns the player more spins and multipliers.
