Theme and Style

Muddy Waters follows a fisherman as he angles for mutant fish in a nuclear waste site.

The post-punk art style looks like it was drawn in Microsoft paint, lending the world the feel of recent indie video games like Pizza Tower. This atmosphere works well with the comical mutant fish that appear on the reels and the background world of the pond, which is filled with barrels of irradiated waste, landfills, and fish skeletons.

This game will appeal to the irreverent fans of 2000s-era Flash games and the games that grew out of that tradition.

Graphics, Sounds and Animations

The art style and animation of Muddy Waters are key selling points. The artfully crude way the fish and fisherman are drawn creates a distinct world while drawing on associations with old flash games, and YouTube comedy animations.

The slot even has a theme song that plays over the opening credits before being traded out for a banjo track during regular play.

Four Scatters adds a Dynamite Feature with a x2 multiplier to the final spin. The Dynamite Feature collects all nearby fish creating winning combinations and applying its multiplier to those wins.

Five Scatters replaces the Fishing Feature with a Dynamite Feature on every spin. The multipliers on the Dynamite feature are randomized to be between x1 and x10.
