It's time to throw yourself into some farm-based fun in the whacky UFO/farm-themed slot Golden Egg Invaders.
NetEnt has leaned into the farmyard chaos with the roosters clucking. Meanwhile, the intergalactic twist gives this slot an added dimension.
Players looking for something more playful may well be drawn to Golden Egg Invaders.
The soundtrack for Golden Egg Invaders is fun and bouncy with its banjo notes.
Its light-hearted nature is bound to keep players upbeat throughout the base game, but they can choose to turn the audio off.
Meanwhile, the Golden Egg Invaders visuals are striking. The wooden frame contains all the usual farmyard accessories, such as tractors.
The action takes place in a chicken yard that contains a red barn. However, the background is stunning, with amazing rolling hills and blue skies.
All in all, Golden Egg Invaders has a great soundtrack and graphics that works well on mobile devices.
Golden Egg Invaders is a 5-reel slot that has a diamond-shaped 3-4-5-4-3 gaming formation.
There are 20 paylines available in this game, and wins can be created by landing at least 3 matching symbols in adjacent reels left to right.
Of the regular symbols, the tractor is highly sought-after, and a 5-of-a-kind win will provide a payout worth 5x your bet.
Whenever an Egg symbol lands on the reels during the base game, it leaves behind a Sticky Frame before disappearing. An Egg symbol can transform randomly into a Golden Egg, and the Frame becomes an Active Frame.
On the next spin, a symbol in a position with an Active Frame turns into a Wild. Then, the Wild disappears from the reels on the next spin.
Every Egg that lands is collected, adding points to the collect meter. It adds 1 point before disappearing if landing on a position without a Frame or Active Frame, or 1 to 4 points on a position with Frame or Active Frame.
Each time, the Collect Meter reaches 200 points, the Free Spins Multiplier increases in this order: 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x, and 10x. After each upgrade, the meter resets to zero.
Free Spins are activated when players land at least 3 Scatters. The round starts with 3 free spins. The bonus round uses a Hold and Win mechanic. Each time an Egg hits, it transforms into a Golden Egg and a random prize value of between 0.5x and 50x your bet.
The maximum win available for Golden Egg Invaders is 1,259x your stake.
The return to player of this slot is 96.13%, creeping above the industry yardstick.
The range of bets tested for Golden Egg Invaders ran from a minimum of $/£/€0.10 per spin up to a maximum of $/£/€300 per spin.
This game is highly volatile, and so it is a perfect match for our preferred slot strategies. We tend to go for games that are high in volatility.
We recommend this high RTP (96.13%), high volatility, and farm-themed slot.
Apart from a robust RTP and high volatility, the wackiness of the title may well appeal to players.
Some intriguing bonus features are also likely to keep players on side.
