What could be better than your very own pot of gold? How about three of them! The 3 Irish Treasures slot by Spinomenal boasts three jackpot prizes, with the biggest one set at 3,000x your stake.
While most Irish-themed slot games are an explosion of rainbows and shamrocks, this one takes on a more muted feeling. It's set in a forest at nighttime, with some subtle animations like falling leaves to set the scene. And those sparkling lights in the background? Either fireflies or fairies, depending on your imagination.
The soundtrack is also quite laid back. Rather than a traditional Irish jig, it's a relaxing harp tune, alongside the usual "ka-ching" sounds when gold coins land in one of the three pots.
3 Irish Treasures is a 5x3 slot with 10 fixed paylines active whenever you spin. To trigger a win, you need to get three matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right on a payline. Look out for the high-paying symbols, which include a horseshoe, a harp, and of course, a mug of green beer. You'll get smaller wins for landing the A, K, Q, and J symbols.
The leprechaun symbol is the Wild, and it can substitute for all symbols except Bonus and Special Bonus icons.
Collect six or more Bonus or Special Bonus symbols to trigger the Hold & Hit bonus game. The triggering symbols lock in place, and you'll start with three Respins. During the special feature, you can collect special symbols, including Mystery Prizes and Multipliers. Special Boost symbols can add Multipliers of up to 10x to all symbols on the reels.
The Mini, Minor, and Major jackpot symbols can appear randomly during the bonus game. If you manage to fill up the entire grid with symbols, you'll bag the biggest jackpot prize of 3,000x.
The biggest payout you can get on 3 Irish Treasures is the Grand jackpot, which pays 3,000x your stake amount. The minimum stake is reasonable at $/€/£0.10 per spin, while the max sits at $/€/£100, translating to an impressive $/€/£300,000 if you land the top prize.
3 Irish Treasures has a few different RTP levels, with the highest being 96.11%. This is above average, so we're happy enough with it. Volatility is medium to high, and while we tend to prefer games with higher volatility, we found the gameplay pretty exciting.
Is 3 Irish Treasures the best slot we've ever played? No. Is it the best Irish-themed slot we've ever played? Also no. But that doesn't mean it's not worth a try. The Respins feature is the main redeeming quality of this game, and we certainly wouldn't turn down a 3,000x jackpot prize. Gameplay is smooth, visuals are decent, and the features are a whole lot of fun.
