It’s definitely important to set yourself a limit and only play with money you can afford to lose. That’s a very responsible approach. Players shouldn’t spend more than they can afford, as that can easily lead to unnecessary financial problems they would certainly want to avoid.

Taking breaks can also help when needed. I think the most important thing is to stay in control and recognize when it’s time to stop. The player should always be in control of their gameplay, rather than letting the gameplay control them.
