UK government to bring in online betting limits

The UK government has decided to fix a max £5.00 bet limit on UK gambling commission affiliated online casinos. I couldn’t care less because I only play at non UK casinos because I didn’t like the KYC rules that can ask for bank statements and wage slips for the casino to decide if you can afford to gamble or not. I actually prefer non Gamstop casinos because they seem to offer better bonuses and a better overall service.

Is this Blue Paper involved, I wonder?

I see your point but do you usually bet more than the equivalent of £5.00?

Can imagine that high rollers will switch to unlicensed casinos immediately. 😀

Yes it’s probably true about the high rollers of which I’m definitely not one of them. My strategy when I play is .50 then up to 1.00 then 2.00 then 4.00 and on the odd occasion when things are going really well and the slot is in the win zone as I call it up to 8.00. Yesterday I got a €10 no deposit bonus x35 wagering from Time2spin it went really well starting at .20 then up to .50 and then 1.00 I got 5 bonus features I was up to 145 but still needed to wager another 100 then 💥 BAM 100 dead spins a few small wins more dead spins and then out. My suspicious mind made me think this didn’t happen by chance🤮

Good day to you,

I'm wondering whether anybody thought about a possible side effect. Italian, German, and possibly some British players as well are being motivated to play in unlicensed casinos - the way I see it. 🙁

Your strategy sounds pretty decent to me. Honestly, 100 dead spins in a row could doubt lots of passionate players, I'm sure.

🙂

I joined a nice little casino called Chipstarcasino not chipstars I had been quite lucky there but they went off line for about a month, the site never went down but live chat and email stoped responding. Because I always gamble at the beginning of the month payday I checked last night and live chat was back but no one there. I fired off an email last night and got a reply this morning to say they were back I deposited €40 starting at .50 1 2 and then 4 I won €500 but I only withdrew €400 because in their terms and conditions they state you can only win 10x my deposit. Not great but I really like the casino they are very friendly and generous with bonuses if things aren’t going well. I won the money playing Finn and the swirly spin the only slot I like to play. Good day to who ever reads this

Good Saturday to you.

I checked the site you mentioned, the Chipstar Casino, honestly, not the best score. I hope you will be alright there. In general, I do not like when a player's possible winnings are limited by the previous deposit.

Can you even imagine that some casinos allow you to withdraw only 5x or 10x your last deposit?

Back to Finn, I will get this slot a chance in free mode I guess, to better understand what makes it so fantastic game to play, I can say I already like the graphics 🙂.

Stay well.

I know the withdrawal is low so no chance of winning big but as I self excluded for 5yrs on Gamstop I have tried different non Gamstop casinos that have Finn and this casino plays the best for me. You might say that it shouldn’t make any difference because the casino just host the casinos from the providers but in my experience it does. Also in my experience in playing Finn is that you generally can’t win more than €700 before it goes into dead spins mode but it does it should be a RNG so really shouldn’t happen but it does this comes from 5yrs of playing it. Of course if you play with high stakes like €10 a spin you would obviously win more but I generally deposit €30/50 start small and increase the amount if it plays well. I would not gamble at all on slots if it wasn’t for the buzz I get from playing Finn.

have a good day

That sounds fair enough. You know what you're doing and I'm happy that you apply such a reasonable approach.
