A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Is that the only reason I give? MCC misuse?

eg. I am requesting a refund on the following payments due to the payments bypassing banking rules - MCC code misclassification etc.

Hi!

I found the merchant details (the ones that show up on your bank statement). I sent them all an email, one replied stating that I would get a refund and it came through the next day.

If you search on here (top right corner) with each merchant name it should show any other comments that other people have mentioned with the same name, can either find their details that way or do a little digging on google!

I've not had one problem with Revolut since all this, I've successfully chargebacked over 30k. I took the goods/services not received route. I even retrieved over 9k of money transfers as they passed on my request to the merchant. I honestly believe it's how you position yourself with Revolut and of course you need to play the merchants at their own game. Plus its in Revoluts best interest to chargeback given the fees they earn out of it. A lot of chargebacks are received in euros, you then have to make an exchange to sterling which the bank earn from. For me Monzo take the crown for worst example.

What did you actually say? You just didn’t mention that it was gambling at all?

and are you saying you managed to retrieve some bank transfer deposits too? If so, how?

Forever grateful for any info that can help me

So you folks are trying to make life for normal gamblers worse or what is the goal here?

Everyone who is playing "offshore" and has made more than 1 deposit knows you are buying the casino balance indirectly, unlike in state regulated casinos, where nobody wants to play at.

Nobody who won anything would be all too bothered about this, I would "bet on that".

This is not the right way imho, unless someone reports and initiates a chargeback upon the first deposit because they are honestly taken by surprise.
