A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Tried my first 8 chargebacks for Cybgame and 123Templates on Monzo suddenly they asked for more info. Now today I have a message saying my account is being closed in 2 months with no previous warnings. Makes no real sense.

Monzo closed my account as I was receiving payments for work from an Umbrella company and it didnt match who I was contracting with - they are so incredibly bad. You certainly won't be the first or last to have a Monzo account closed for a small reason.

I‘ve now read all the pages and here‘s my comparison with additiomal my own experiences.

Why you are always contacting the sites directly? If you file a chargeback as goods not received, which is legit because this company didn‘t provide you with goods. They will then provide fake proofs and then you have to tell this to your card provider and you will get your deposits back within 60 days.

The casinos have to make billions and billions of dollars on illegal gambling and in the background other really dirty things to can offer the option to deposit via mastercard. They know that it‘s chargebackable since years and still offer it. I don‘t know how this can be profitable without shady things in the background.

I‘ve never seen any consequences on players doing this. Only some data selling what they also do if you play normally there. So maybe you can give me some legit example what casinos did against a player?

Hi there, long time viewer of this forum and experiencing similar issues to many - thanks to everyone for their help so far.

I've just received this response from one of the merchants. Could you advise what to do next with this seeing as i was clear in my emails that i had authorised it and it had gone to illegal gambling websites?

Obviously i will have more luck raising as a dispute - goods not received than fraud as it wasn't 'used without my authorisation'.

Thankyou!

'After reviewing the information provided, we were unable to locate an account associated with the email address you shared. While the receipts are indeed related to our services, it may indicate that your payment card was used without your authorization.

Should that be the case, we strongly advise contacting your issuing bank to initiate a chargeback procedure. Please rest assured that we comply fully with the guidelines established by Visa and MasterCard, and do not hold the funds in such instances.'
