A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

So you got 6 out 6 complete successful. Case closed my friend. Nothing is easy in these cases... you should be telling people to keep pushing and if they put in the effort with Revolut, they will be successful.

Yep my work is done - but again my point remains - trust nothing with Revolut. Screenshot everything as they will claim conversations didnt happen, they didn't receive emails etc. They are a registered bank here as well so have a lot of rules - can only imagine what they can get away with in the UK as they aren't a bank there.

Couldn’t agree more. It seems bppaul is very bored and unhappy with his own life he likes to get attention here

You had a good experience with them - I and many others did not. The guy I know who used to post here had to go to FOS twice and had both cases accepted - they still havent paid him, he is UK. The bank have massive links to unlicensed casinos and payment providers as well. As a snippet - they are Quickbit's(who own numerous sub companies) bank and also directly offer payment services on many Santeda casinos. Conflict of interest or what???

Yes but again you've mentioned gambling here so I'm not sure how you are being honest in how you are raising these in truth. Mastercard does not allow gambling chargebacks pal.

Who mentioned gambling???? Nobody did! They were Goods and Services not received and I won them all eventually. Not sure if your getting the point so Ill say it one last time - Do not trust Revolut, screenshot every conversation, push them and take it as far as possible. This company are dodgy.

That’s not true I’ve had chargebacks from gambling under goods not received so…

This forum is absolutely ridiculous now. People arguing and constantly replying to each other. No one cares about these childish squabbles

Agree. A lot of negative bollox on here. I try bring some positive notes to people that have been affected and divs wants to argue about it. Bottom line if you are with Mastercard just raise goods not receive. Do not mention gambling. It's not hard. You will get your money back.

Its you who has completely misinterpreted what I have said here! The point is that Revolut are not to be trusted and there is vast evidence of this. There is not a one size fits all solution for all banks - some are much better than others. The online banks are least likely to understand the chargeback process.

Caught out where? You’re obsessed, what a little freak you are

What bank can't be trusted tho. I am with the fos as it stands. All I'm saying is it isn't plain sailing and takes a lot of effort. We got ourselves in this mess... and it's our job to get back out of it.

Revolut lie - there is vast proof of this. They have a serious conflict of interest when it comes to offshore casinos - other UK banks do not. You may see the connections soon enough....I'll give you a hint though - Revolut are/were a payment method on Santeda casinos....

The point is you raised them as gambling. When mastercard doesn't allow gambling within its policy. Sadly it's how you've raised them that's the issue. Your first post was putting down Revolut without taking a route that would have made your life so much more easier. file

I'm bored of repeating myself. You got newbies on here who don't put in the effort and think they know it all. Listen to people that's been successful and follow their advice. There's rules for every path so make sure it fits yours. I'm out of here. Good luck people. And watch out for the scally wags

No it isn't!!!!!!!! JESUS! I have already commented that they were NOT raised as gambling. Revolut argued that the payments were "Money transfers" because they went to Quickbit. The amount of work that had to be done to get the money back was vast. They still aren't accepted as chargebacks btw - they were forced to compensate me.

The screenshot you have provided is still correct imo - I personally didnt mention gambling but others have and have won. The online banks see the word gambling and run a mile - real banks do not as they understand what MCCs are.

You think one size fits all - you had a good experience - not everyone will. It will be challenging for lots of people, trust me. I got my money - but after a lot of back and forth and legal challenges. Many may not have the stomach for that. Your simplistic view isn't helpful.

100% this, I don’t think the successful ones as stated by me yesterday can add anymore now.

All the information is on here, yes new merchants will pop up and you may/may not find them but just blindly waiting on a miracle refund from them instead of going to the bank is causing people issues, same as people not formulating good arguments and evidence to the banks.

Yes some are worse than others but people have had success so these are the ones you should follow.

Best of luck mate - that’s also me gone now, all mine are raised and I do not have the headspace on here for the amount of chancers who either don’t listen to the people who have won chargebacks or the ones that are trying to charge others.

Anyway @Radka - please remove my account. There is no point in me being on here- my chargebacks are complete. Too many on here as well who wish to seem to continue charging back on multiple banks aka freerolling. Not for me. Good luck to those with genuine cases!

Your first post literally says gambling. If they aren't yet accepted then that's the reason why. Revolut is mastercard. Mastercard doesnt allow chargebacks where gambling is involved. It's not an argument. I'm just saying how it is so others don't make the same mistake. Im not sure why you have your back turned up so much, its very peculiar. I will stick by what i said to help others out. If you don't put in the effort and read what's available on here, and still fail with a chargeback - then I have no sympathy for you.
