A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I understand they say not licensed in the UK, but surely a message or block when trying to access unlicensed sites could be provided.

If you look at the American bookmakers so licensed in many countries if you try to access them an automatic block message comes up.

Let’s say I try to access a legitimate gambling site based in the United States. As soon as I enter the website, I’m automatically blocked due to my UK location, since their services aren’t legally available to users outside their jurisdiction. This is a standard compliance measure.

Curaçao-based operators, on the other hand, routinely bypass these restrictions. You can access their sites without any jurisdictional checks or warnings. There’s no indication that their services are not legally permitted in the UK.

Most consumers have no way of knowing whether a gambling operator is UK-regulated or not. That’s why it’s the operator’s legal and ethical responsibility to implement proper geoblocking from the outset not to deceive users into believing the platform is legitimate or UK-licensed.

Exactly my point. This could all be prevented from the get go. But they deliberately choose not to implement these standard jurisdiction blocks. This is step one of fraudulent behavior.

They then advertise themselves as largest non gamstop UK sites. All of its a farce. Need to bring these arseholes down to the ground

I have also noted some have links to gambling support charities such as Gordon Moody almost to trick people that they are legitimately providing services yet try and self exclude its a long process and can reopen anytime you want.

In reality, bank gambling blocks and GamStop registration are largely irrelevant in these cases, UK users shouldn’t be able to access these sites at all in the first place. If proper jurisdictional blocks were in place, as required, access would be denied outright.

This was my argument to Barclays, I didn’t hold them responsible for refunding me (despite the huge arguments and accusations against me that I did from them), it is illegal from the providers, even VISA state in their terms must be licensed to take money in the jurisdiction they operate in.

TRVERS is linked to Terraverse so search gainkit in google for the website, they won’t respond but if you go into the refund section the email address on there always rejects emails. That is the basis for the goods not received route, screenshot the refund policy, send the email to bank that rejects, state the emails don’t work. Skins for gaming/vouchers for gain gold that don’t arrive in steam account. Happy to email anyone the evidence I had against them.
