A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

This is the response I got but the banks won't touch it in my experience so it's all cool saying contact the bank but it's also a way to get rid of people like us.file

We are bound by stringent compliance?!

What a complete joke that statement is!

🛑 Why It Matters

Compliance Misrepresentation

Accepts gambling-related payments while policy states it doesn’t.

Obfuscates with descriptors like "Falcora Finance," making it difficult for banks and customers to trace.

Chargeback Obstacle

Money transferred via Falcora is treated like a bank transfer—chargebacks are not readily available.

Victims must use APP fraud or recall mechanisms, which are complex and not always successful.

Laundering Gateway

Casino sites use Falcora to hide their involvement from banks and regulators.

The scale and opacity could be feeding into wider money-laundering operations.

in their terms and conditions 3.

Prohibited Users

Entities involved in non-licensed offline gambling, betting, casinos, horse racing, or bingo.

A question, the dispute over the merchants (coinpacto, trvrs... many of those that appear here) started with Revolut and they say they do not accept the dispute because according to the card network they are payments to gambling platforms.

We know that these businesses are not gambling, why does Revolut say that?

hello guys, TRNDBM update, I'm waiting for their second response, there was a first response from them, but they don't seem to want to refund. just give me a few more days to understand how they operate and I'll reveal everything to you. I promise. do you need any other merchants in the meantime?

Because that is how Mastercard set their terms for chargebacks, annoyingly.

I have had this problem with my bank. I disputed a load of transactions as goods not received, but the bank came bank to me and said that they had investigated the transactions and decided they were gambling payments. In order to do this, they must either track the transactions from us > 3rd party merchant > casino or as I supect to be the case, they are checking in on this thread, trustpilot and sharing data.

Which, if that is the case, means they are more than capable of blocking the transactions or recouping our money by charging back as good not received.

However, Mastercard are quite clear that transactions for gambling are not eligble for chargebacks unless the money doesn't arrive in your account.

Thanks, finally by pressing Revolut I got them to give me the MCCs of the businesses and surprise none of them are gambling -7995-

I have asked them again to re-evaluate the dispute and they have told me that they will respond to me in 15 days.

I have Visa with Revolut, I hope it's better...

Questions for the wider audience, I've read a few older posts of people not getting any joy out of Vivexcoin (VIVXCN), has anyone emailed them direct and had traction? And any luck going down the chargeback route with them?

I've got dialogue and 'investigation' going on with Depasify as well that they've committed to resolving in the next 2 working days. Am prepping chargeback details if that bears no fruit. Again anyone had experience with them?

And final one for now, Webmosaic (WEBMOSAC) I've put an email to but no response as yet. Got a few transactions tied up with them. Any past experience on that welcomed as well.

I'm trying as much as I can direct as I've found Monzo to be obstructive to deal with so far and I'm holding my bullets back as don't want them getting narky and closing my account before I've tried hauling most of this back.

As a Kiwi, I must used Crypto or cards in most online casinos and I do not like crypto, I believe it is because the casinos do not have proper processing licences for online gambling, so they route the money to some random shop and that would be the descriptor you see on your statement.

So long the money is credited to my player account, I am perfectly fine with this, who cares.

I had a successful chargeback for Webmosac through Monzo a while back, going down the goods not received route. Was only about £100 though

Definitely if it's Visa.

They can use chargeback reason code 12.7.

Google it, have a read and point them in the correct direction!

Quite. And I'm sure we all would be if;

The scammy casino paid out.

They were using official software.

They were licensed and accountable.

They carried out kyc/aml checks.

Etc.
