A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

If someone says they have good news, but don't share anything here and only ask to talk in private, they are lying.

They are most likely scammers. Don't email them.

Incorrect, there’s people on here that use the information others have worked hard to find to scam others.

If anyone has Baldigame on their statement - I emailed [email protected] and they refunded straight away. It was only 3 transactions but they didn’t fight after I said I hadn’t bought or received anything from them

hope it helps if anyone has them one their statement.

TERRVERS is

[email protected] & [email protected] - not received a refund however if you have emails to them this should hopefully help with raising disputes with the bank

100%. There is an easy solution though - these casinos can stop using Visa, Mastercard, PayPal etc to take payments for regulated goods. This fixes the problem straight away. Crypto casinos are doing fairly well and it's a grey area for who can and cannot play - these others are just looking for people with gambling problems who have credit and debit cards. As soon as they stop accepting the payments then any risk of "free rollers" or scammers is gone.

Has anyone had their case reviewed by an investigator at the UK FOS but then been referred to an ‘ombudsman’ for a final decision?

If so, how long have you waited? My case has been open since Aug24 now

I received an offer of less half of the total amount I'd deposited from the casino a few weeks ago and decided to accept it as was worried about my bank accounts being closed. On the same day my new VIP manager got in touch offering soecial promotions 🙄

They've now asked me to sign a waiver! I've told them I'd only sign if I get a full refund and to close my account. Clearly know what they're doing!! 😠

I found it easier to just claim back a full refund via a chargeback - my bank account wasn't closed for taking these actions .. plus the blocked access to the casino sites shortly followed. Win win lol

Mastercard have now finally emailed me back requesting information on payments( a lot of information). They cannot themselves resolve the situation for me directly, but can hold the acquiring banks of the merchants responsible and even freeze merchant accounts which is the next best thing. Watch this space. Will update in due course.

You got declined because you mentioned gambling. Read the thread and do your homework before submitting a claim. Ive no experience with your bank but it seems they dont entertain the g word. Plenty of advice on this forum. You can learn from your mistake and move forward now.

No mate I don't. I initially went through the Support Checkout mail and eventually they have passed me to a Merchant Fraud team. I can't respond to them - they have directed me to a secure site to upload docs.
