A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Once you realise and approach it like that then you have the best chance to succeed. It really saddens me to see so many have relapsed on here after working so hard to get their money back.

Yes it is sad I stopped at a point as I realised I am not getting this back logic kicked in but when it does not then that is a problem the thing is I reckon the banks will eventually tell us all where to go though

It is really difficult and I get why people relapse, dealing with these illegal sites really helped me as this is the only time in all my life I was given my losses back so I have seen that as an opportunity to move on. Although over the years I must have relapsed 50 times trying to win it all back etc. I would assume eventually banks will start to stop charging back for these huge totals, this isn’t correct but the authorities won’t clamp down on the illegal activities they never do.

What do you think about third-party payment processors? It's not just Visa and Mastercard.

Do they have legal responsibility???

Hopefully he gets it back im sure there will be someone who has sympathy that is the break you need I think this is why we are seeing banks now closing accounts but it deffo made me come to my senses with money when you get allocated a hardline bank worker they do not give a toss then its a fight after that

I too have relapsed since discovering this forum and raising claims etc... literally gone broke from it so I couldnt even gamble more if I wanted🤣 If I do manage to recoup some from the chargebacks I think it would be the biggest wake up call of my life to stop messing around

Gambling addiction is a serious disorder and its a shame its so glorified and easily accessible its destroyed my mental wellbeing so many times and its difficult to find a way out. Currently 1.5 weeks without a bet and £6500 in chargebacks waiting for the merchants response wish me luck 🙏

Don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but just had £2,800 back into my account in 10 different transactions of varying amounts. Just labelled as credit adjustments - no idea who from but clearly a casino or one of these dodgy merchants!

Sounds like it has been refunded by your bank. Did you raise disputes?
