A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

I get them throughout the day, sadly i don't think the regulatory bodies care all that much as problem gamblers are generally in the minority, so it's not as big an issue to them as it should be, there needs to be some kind of international governing body that keeps these licensing/regulatory bodies in check and goes after these unlicensed casinos, only way that these issues will stop.

Has anyone used trading standards at all?

I reported Santeda to Trading Standards about 2 years ago - literally silence, nothing came of it. Action Fraud the same - got a response, but said they are not within their lawful jurisdiction. Only by following the sources of funds and presenting a case to a lawyer(I have done this in Curacao) can you get anywhere if the banks won't do anything. It can work though - France got Mystake.com delisted from any google searches and a host of others.

Case by case basis - wasn't Santeda I took on though, managed to get a settlement from another non-UK site who I am not allowed to mention lol! They aren't ones doing the dodgy card stuff though. They take a fee if they win which was fairly reasonable.

You need to contact company house and report them as they are dissolved company so should not be making any transactions also report to the insolvency practitioner the SMP is https://simplypayme.com/ contact them also and tell them they are processing payments on behalf of an dissolved company who is processing transactions for ilegal unlicensed gambiling sites

How do you know that it is Simplypayme? I contacted them in the past regarding all transactions and they denied any knowledge. But they are under the same address as all the companies!

Did you get a refund?

Yes I had money transfers refunded through elegro although the bank originally declined. I'm guessing the bank still passed on my request to the merchant despite not directly getting involved.

They are denying they are linked to the transactions yet it's what comes up when I search for what's written on my statement.

Lucky for you this time which site are you talking about? If the wins are smaller they may pay but if you hit a big one say goodbye for some sites.

You do realise that according to Casino Guru the 5 casinos that you have given glowing reviews for don’t accept UK customers. Maybe just a strange coincidence 🤔

Strangely enough 1 minute after the post by Parmale_L you have posted. It’s strange because they have given 5 casinos a glowing review and you’ve given 4 casinos a glowing review. Guess what the four you’ve given your reviews for are the exact same four they have given their reviews for. It’s a long way from the UK to Canada so must be an amazing coincidence.
