A little warning here for the CG Community: Casino Guru is an open platform where everyone is free to share their thoughts and opinions. We believe in free speech and try to be as non-restrictive as possible. That said, please remember: just because something is posted on the forum doesn’t mean Casino Guru agrees with it or endorses it in any way. We’re really happy to see players engaging in conversations, debating respectfully, and having fun doing so! That’s why we created this platform. However, we’ve noticed a growing trend – not just here, but across other platforms too – where some players, after losing money fairly in a casino, look for ways to get those funds back through their bank or payment provider, often by filing chargebacks or making false claims. We’d like to warn you: this behaviour is not only unfair – it’s also very risky! We’ve already seen and heard stories (here and elsewhere) of people who got into serious trouble trying to go down this route – including closed casino accounts across multiple platforms, closed bank accounts, debts, and even lawsuits (attempted fraud). Attempting fraud or misrepresenting the truth to a bank or provider is never a good idea and could have lasting consequences. So here’s our friendly appeal to all Casino Guru community members: Stand up against unfair and dishonest casinos. Use our Complaints Resolution Center if you need help – you don’t have to fight alone. But please don’t try to get back money you’ve fairly lost. It’s simply not worth the risk. Thanks for being part of our community – and have a great day!

Wpbazar [email protected] [email protected]

niche [email protected]

slim fit [email protected] - this seems like a genuine business but has to be involved in money laundering.

script [email protected]

None of these will reply to emails. But they also don’t fight chargebacks so email them for evidence.

spray software - theres a company in Nigeria called Spraay software but they deny they are linked so chargeback for them too

Need some help guys

raised dispute with my Visa credit card provider saying incorrect MCC used

been told today that because I authorised it, they can’t help me

phoned them and they say they can’t file under VISA 12.7 because I knowingly used a site that used incorrect merchant code to bypass this

any ideas what to do?

"We have carefully reviewed all the documentation provided, and can understand your frustration and concern of being unable to resolve this problem. We note from your documents that you deposited to online casinos but the merchant using wrong code to bypass laws. However, as credit cards are a guaranteed mode of payment and as you gave your authority to the merchant for your [CC COMPANY] account to be charged, it is with regret to inform you that [CC COMPANY] is unable to assist."

this is after I requested a dispute/chargeback under Visa 12.7

On the basis that they won’t file it under 12.7?

The guy on the phone said I knowingly authorised it, my point back to him was okay, but I didn’t know whether it would be approved or not because if the correct MCC code was used, it would have been blocked.

we ended up going round in circles so I made a subject access request to see the info I provided them with with the intention of resubmitting. But you think to make a complaint instead?

I made a claim alleging that I do not recognize those charges with incorrect MCC. I suppose that when they verify that I authorized it, I will be in the same situation as you.

Makes no sense because it gives the merchant leeway to process it in a misleading way to bypass restrictions but as consumers we are strictly held to everything. It absolutely stinks.

If you are getting nowhere the complaint gets the ball rolling state the money would be recovered easily if they were raised etc etc you can see no reason for them not being raised the chargeback team cannot do it for you it needs to escalate to chargeback complaints

Thanks for this, your help is very much appreciated.

Phoned them up and said I’d like to complain. They asked why and I told them, advisor said 12 codes are usually used by fraud. Said he wouldn’t raise a complaint but he would just refund the charges from the CC company’s funds.

Worth bearing in mind with this CC it was low three figures so not sure I’d be so lucky if it were more.

Ok great result ! yes its easier for them to back down especially if a small amount but also for large amounts as they could potentially have to pay it back themselves
